What a B.A. machine. 5 speed manual is a awesome idea, and it kind of reminds me of the yfz.
design was based off of the yfz so yeah they are very similar.
Not bad for being Yamaha's 1st sport sxs. Imagine its evolution, say 3-4 years from now.
Good thing they put a full paddle on there so everyone that thinks roost equals power.....
And also funny how the drag race was against a 4 seater RZR with staggered paddles. Put equal paddles on both and the rzr be a 2 seater, I bet it would have walked it. Not trying to hate on the YXZ at all. Honestly, I love the concept. I just don't think its as good as everyone is expecting it to be. One thing I would love tho is to have that manual gear box in my rzr....

+Andrew Corcoran even if the yamaha is faster, it has a stupid name, looks weird, and isn't wide enough. You saw him almost tip it in the video. Also the back suspenison is way too firm, and it nose dives in just a little jump. So straight line speed isn't all that matters
***** yes i have driven one, and went to buy a rzr. Just watch some videos of it and the nose dives every time it jumps. Then watch the back suspension over whoops. Too stiff. It's a good machine, just not great

its funny to see people hating on a machine that is literally has at least 2 wins in every form of legitimate sxs racing in america right now, even the limited classes . look it up

Seems that on all the videos I have watched, it has a lot of nose dive.
Yes, but can be adjusted by tinkering with the suspension. I played with mine over the weekend and have eliminated much of the nosediving.
I noticed that also. I watch many videos when they came out . I was thinking about getting one but all over America I kept seeing people nose dive these things.
How much to rent?
I think they want $325 a day.
