NewYorkBlack - Class G amps typically have a high bias to Class A. The SA30 operates in Class A to around 25 watts, which covers the vast majority of most normal listening conditions. Some the higher end Arcam amps are Class A to 50 watts. This provides a very powerful sound while maintaining efficiency. Very good stuff when done right, and Arcam has been tweaking their Class G technology for probably 10 years now.
@@jstoli996c4s The heatsink inside can dissipate at most 20W so 25W in class A is out of the question. It's probably one of those smart bias pseudo class A jobs, coupled with a multi-rail system to increase efficiency / decrease manufacturing cost.
Is it punchy and powerful. What you have. I have avr850 but I am not impressed with two channel so looking around. Also heard Parasound halo 6 quite expensive but expensive
Thank you. Is dynaudio emit M30 take more power that is the reason I dont see better performance on my avr850 when playing two channel? How about Vincent German brand. I will check out the brand you suggested

I bought the av40 and pa720 set 3 weeks ago and the pa720 1ch sounds much quieter. I regret exchanging with denon
Very good review sir, simple and straightforward. I have Avr850. Want to have better two channel integrated
Yes, little expensive. Comparison to Parasound halo
Why does everyone like to claim that their gear sounds like a class A amp?

A bit pricey, I own the sa 10 for a month now, just started to open up and sounding sweet
Robin Alexander how would you say it compares to some of Arcam’s older stuff? I have an AVR300 from 2006. Still very powerful and sounds great.

Jack Ryder another brand to consider is Hegel. They are highly rated, but pricey. I might explore the H190 or H390 for my next upgrade.
