TBH 3 teams don't need a change in the offseason: SEN, GenG, and EDG. They did what a franchise team is expected to do: Win an international LAN. So instead of focusing on roster changes, they need to work on map pool and comps instead, particularly Sen and GenG.
I think you'd add TH in there too. GenG were actually fine on all maps, they just got really unlucky with their group, and got counterstrated, similar to how FNC fell off in 2023. SEN never played Abyss on stage until TH. EDG will need to continue to adapt to stay on top. PRX i think had serious map pool issues during champs, but they probably should give it one more year with this roster. I thought FNC wouldn't drop Derke but they did, so it will be interesting to see what they come up with next year. But every other team should look to make changes.

@@Mommyyriah I don't fully disagree with you, but think about it this way. The team made it top 4 in an international and were 2 rds from Champs where 3 of the top 4 teams at Champs - we beat. We have a proven roster right now, the risk reward of making a change doesn't make sense. This team is likely to stay at its level or improve - making a change MIGHT lead to better results, but it's hard to get much better than what they've got. It's not worth the risk of becoming a worse team. Also, Asuna enables his team very well. If we're pointing out performance it was Boostio who was the main contributor to our losses statistically in playoffs. But Boostio just played poorly individually - we could've easily gone to champs and done well.
They probably got inspired by teams like DRX and EDG, and maybe teams like PRX. DRX got blasted for overhauling their legacy roster of legends, but got way better results from it. EDG was always the top 1 team in China but risked swapping a player in playoffs even though they didn't have a domestic reason to, and that team went to win Champions. PRX stayed with their legendary roster and even reversed the Jing situation replacing Monyet after they placed very well with Monyet and had their worst placement in an international tournament. Fnatic has remained stagnant since their back to back international titles, and aside from swapping Leo (not intentional) they haven't done anything, which made them internationally perform worse than lower seeded EU teams internationally on multiple lans. Many successful rosters of previous memory were overhauled roster. Even Heretics despite being cursed as second for 2 international tournaments, was completely shit before the overhaul.
