Deworming your pet is an important part of its regular health regime. Even if pet owners take good care of their pets, one cannot avoid worms as our pets are at constant risk of a worm infestation. Owners must be sure of what kind of worms their dogs have because they must give their dogs the right medications. Each one requires different a treatment. Regular deworming of your pet is also an essential part of its general health, you may see no signs of worm infestation but that doesn’t mean that they aren’t there.
Round worms have a complicated life cycle that includes many different stages one of which is encysted larvae. These larvae migrate through different body tissues and are capable of crossing the placenta of a pregnant dog or cat to the unborn puppy or kitten. They can also be found in the mother’s milk. Therefore, when the offspring are born they will already be infested with adult worms which in turn will start producing eggs.
Visit your Veterinary clinic. There are many excellent dewormers on the market and your veterinarian will be able advise you which is the most suitable for your pet. Modern dewormers usually kill the worm in the intestines, where it dissolves. These drugs are safe and should have no side effects. Depending on the severity of the infestation you may need to repeat the medication 10-14 days after the initial treatment, or even complete a longer course.

I am from himachal . I our family 6 gaddi dog all they eat only makki roti or chapaati with milk . They never eat fruits or vagitables . We never gave other protein ,vitamins or calcium liquid or tablets .They bath in river near home. They are healthy and weight of each adult dog 70kg -90kg . How can judge that dog needs vitamin or calcium. They also eat all type of sweets like laddu, gulabjamun, jalebi, toffies , chocolates , cake pastries,etc . we never gives meat to dog. Each dog drink cow milk 1liter daily.it is good or not.
