Ending is too short ....reunited with 5 babies with their orginal parent should be more elaborating. So much then just end... really disappointed .

There was more to the ending that was not shown. All the children were shown together with their "fathers" giving them back to their real parents. Mingxi promised to let the "fathers" spend time with the children. It was explained why Mu Chen did not die when the bomb exploded but unfortunately I forgot what happened!
