It's a torsion plate. Not a "plate" in the sense that you're thinking. It's just for mid foot rigidity.

@@macewindex564 looking at the shoe, what she referred to as "plate" seems like the torsion system which is located just between the midsole and outsole. This torsion system has always been in the Ultraboost series since Ultraboost 1. It's more for torsional stability rather than propulsion like in plated shoes.

boost is similar to power run. you are correct and it is in the same category, but this one has allegedly more flexibility due to it being “plated”
