It reminds me of my mom. My mother use to collect cream for milk and then she use to make ghee directly form cream, and she use to make paratha with that ghee during Ramadan. (My Allah grant my mother higher place in Jhanna.) Ameen!

My grandmother and mother used to do that. It is such a wonderful way to have always fresh malai. Butter and sometimes make desi ghee
Malai itself in the fridge was always there and best way to eat was to apply it on the bread 🍞 and may be add some honey and eat yum. Also malai on zarda is out of this world. Those are my memories of growing up in Pakistan.
And the. Fresh butter. Nothing beats that. Nothing at all
