3 Ball!

I do like this game and think it will be fun for teenagers from church to play but I’m trying to think through how they can play this game as teams. Any thoughts on that?

Here are a few thoughts on playing 3 ball on teams…
First off, split them into teams and play the game with the exact same rules. Whichever team color is left standing in the end will be the team that wins. So, if only one player is left at the end, and he is on the “blue” team, blue team wins. If there are 3 players left with a ball at the end, and they’re all blue team, there’s no need to get down to one player, only one team is left, so the game is over.
Some things to consider if playing in teams…
1) you may add 1 or two more balls. This will allow players to team up and strategize with another player on their team that has the ball at the same time.
2) consider adding a certain color of ball that can only be thrown from out of bounds to get players who are still in, out. If a player who is in picks up a this ball, they are out. This just adds another element to the game and ensures that the players who are out always have balls to throw.
3) playing this way will allow teams to keep their best players in at the end if they so choose. If your team is down to one player and you’d rather have a different player in, the “in” player could simply run by their teams best player and allow them to reach out and tag them from out of bounds. The players switch positions at that point.
