My favorite way to protect my work surface is to lay out pieces of wax paper when I am gluing, painting, etc. Inexpensive and makes for a quick clean-up. Also, our local Menard's, a home improvement super store like Home Depot, sells 1 inch foam paint brushes for very cheap and/or free after rebate, which makes it a good choice to use for gluing special projects. I cut off small strips of the sponge if the glue is not water soluble to limit waste, otherwise, water soluble glues wash out easily. Great video, thanks for sharing!

Hello Daphne, I was watching your videos for constructing the box. In the video "Album in a box Part Two", you started to give measurements and show how to make the hinge. Then you left for a minute and when you came back the hinge was finished. It doesn't give the measurements anywhere or show how to make it. Am I missing it somewhere? I love your album and really want to make it. Thanks.

In the description of the video is the cut list. Click on the "Show more". Let me know if you need anything else.

@@ScrapNCreateVideos Thanks so much for your reply. I found the measurements in the cut list under description as you suggested. Thanks for pointing me there. Do you have a video that I can watch on creating the hinge? I appreciate the help. I love all of your albums and your videos are very easy to follow. Thanks for sharing your talent with the rest of us.

Hi Daphne. I love it, but it is way too complicated for me. I lost you at the beginning when you attached the sides. This would be an excellent project for a live class where anyone could ask questions and have you come over and show what to do. This is not to say that everyone isn’t ready to do this and I love what you are doing. You are employing all your years of crafting experience and that’s great. 😊 Jane

Wow - I’ve made many box projects and several exploding boxes. This seemed way more complicated than anything I’ve ever made before! Sorry - have to give it a thumbs down. 🙁
