Very different to years ago when red Lancashire United, blue Leigh Corporation, and green Salford City Transport buses operated in the area.

Seems like an OK system if used with electric buses. (Wonder if they could charge up on the Bus way if the correct equipment could be fitted)

Note the driver wearing a seat belt in this video. First and Tower Transit are the only companies that fit seat belts for the driver (not for the passengers)

Cause the government of transport don't care about passengers. It works the same way here in Australia..driver has seat belt but not passengers.
This obarn is way better than what we have in Australia

@@benos4x4adventures49 The reason why they don’t fit seatbelts for the passengers because if they did, the bus is now technically a coach and it wouldn’t be possible to carry standing passengers, as by law every passenger would have to be seated wearing the seatbelt.

What a waste of money 💰 Should have built the metro link instead 🤪

TheDaf95xf anything from trams, light metro, metro (underground) is expensive, and expensive to maintain. This is a question of laying down concrete blocks. Period. No traffic jam no car crashes to hold the buses more space for cars. Asda value style. England has the worst public transport in Europe. No space for trams, buses are slow jam traffic not frequent I ratherwalk, metro only exists in London and tiny light metro in Newcastle. Cities such as Birmingham desperately needs metro ( underground), but instead you'll see these cheap efficient things popping up. Most EU countries have proper underground metro systems in major cities outside the capitals. England is the only one who went for bus lanes. Too expensive to fix now. In Germany for example they've built underground in Berlin, Munich ,Stuttgart ,Frankfurt, dusseldorf, Hamburg, Nuremburg ,cologne, hannover, job done trains underground, with vast high speed trams in every city... England should learn from that
