@SaskatoonPaul Thanks mate, I'm trying to learn something about video editing with every video, so hopefully they will get better and better as you say. Next week's climb will put this one to shame I must say.😬 There are a lot of firsts for me in this series as it is my first time with a bike in europe and i've had an absolute ball. Cheers for watching mate and I'm glad your enjoying it so far.👍
Hey mate, I like your commentating, its hilarious😁🤣... but even more I´m impressed about your fearless riding👋👌🤜🤙. I´m looking forward watching you next adventure.
Cheers mate, I’m glad someone enjoys my ramblings 😂 I don’t know about fearless but I definitely give it a crack. Next episode it gets a little bit hairy and you will see some fear.😬😬😬
Another pleasant video showcasing the real ADVENTURE part of the BMW R1300 - nice rural dualtrack, some, mud, some rock, nothing stupid gnarly, yet just good offraod riding (not going to Starbucks). As far as i can can tell, you are still the only real talent on YT for this bike off-road! Attaboy!
This was actually a really fun trail and a good introduction for what’s to come. I think going to Italy has improved my riding ability and opened my eyes to some amazing adventures. cheers for the support mate 👍
This is what I like to see, the off-road stuff. I was thinking when you are riding in such areas and perhaps come to a fallen tree, you did not mention to me the other day if you carry with you a hand saw. Might be a good idea to have one just in case. I am amazed that with the 5 gallon tank you are able to travel as you do and do not seem to need the big tank of the GSA model.
@ericjames7680 Having a saw could definitely benefit you in a tight situation but a lot of the time you can either drag the branch or tree away, or find a little work around. So I don't carry one. but I did think of a cool design for a "pocket" saw while I was in Italy for exactly that kind of situation which may come to fruition one day. Most of the time with the TET Trails it's never more than 100km of offroad (more often than not its 30-40km) before coming back to some civilisation and a fuel station. (In my experience)
This looks really cool. Can´t wait to get there myself. the vieas are fantastic, especially at that time of the year, when everything changes or has changed in colour. And seems like the roads around me are perfect training grounds, cause they are very similar in surface with all the mud and so on. Just not steep for such a long time, only short inclines. Looking forward to the next video. It is more and more enjoyable for me to watch your videos👍
That’s right I remember now. You were testing them for me. 😂😂😂 Did you put some good kilometers on them? I chewed through the Karoo 4 rear tyre in a month. (Admittedly it was 4000km)
@BavarianBloodhound1 no, not really. Only have 1400 on them at the moment. Weather and work didn't let me do much more. Early January, I have some time again. Hopefully, the weather permits more riding time. Or I just leave for a couple of days for Italy or something like that. The tires seem fine for the moment, but I can see wear on the rear tire already, even though I am usually gentle with the throttle. I guess the little trip towards the top of the mountain with the permanent spinning rear tire didn't help the longevity of the Karoos either. But 4000 is at least better than the channel "on the back wheel" from Australia. He killed an Anakee Wild Adventure in one day on a Triumph Tiger 1200🤣
@Wollestar hopefully you get some good weather then. I couldn’t imagine the north of Italy being much different in weather compared to where you are unless you head south. On the back wheel must have being doing exactly what his name suggests, I will go check it out. I am also reasonably gentle with my tyres with the occasional squirt (apart from Sommellier) :0 so in the end I got 5000km and some change out of the rear 'BUT' I would say the tyre lost its effectiveness at about 3000-3500km. the front will probably go through 2-3 rears.
@@BavarianBloodhound1 No more riding this year. Cold and slippery, but spring is around the corner, i hope :P . Merry Christmas mate and keep riding safe

Cheers mate.👍
No matter what time of year, still spectacular scenery everywhere. Awesome as always cheers Tom 👍
Thanks @bigd3904 glad you enjoyed it. 😀
Duuude! Its amazing! What an honor to be part of your adventure !! 🔥
Hope you liked it just as I did!
@peteba1962 It was awesome mate.
The honor is all mine buddy, you inspire me to be better. 👍👍👍👍
Your videos are getting better and better, that climb was a real McKoy (Like we say it in Canada) climb.

That would be a sweet ride. Video never does it justice 👌🏻
Yeah it was fun for sure, I will definitely be coming back to finish what I started next year.
Enjoy watching your travels!

Awesome to hear you're loving the videos! Your training spots sound epic, Have you put on some off-road tyres?
@@BavarianBloodhound1 yeah, as mentioned some time ago, I have the Dunlop Trailmax on. They seem good so far on and off road

Great stuff man! Looks like there are quite a few spots i missed when i was in the area. Cant wait to go back.
Cheers @dom0588 it's always a good excuse to go back. 😃😃
There’s a lot of areas that I also missed so I will definitely be back.
Good video mate, really enjoyed that!

Great video and congrats to 1k sub :-)
Thanks @advswede it’s a big milestone for me. :) 👍
