- Scotland’s Aberdeen has launched the world’s first hydrogen powered double-decker buses. It is an attempt to reduce air pollution and transform the city into a green economy. A fleet of 15 such buses have been launched as part of the trial. These buses emit water vapour instead of carbon monoxide.

We need these all over the UK.
We need these all Over India
😂
😂
Good initiative! Air pollution is the biggest problem we are facing right now
Hamare marne tak ye India mein to na aane wali.
Plastics also one of them.
Wow what a positive step .
Great, जय हिन्द।
Wow let's make earth greener as they were before.... it should be developed and introduced in every vehicles....
Green 🌴🌳🌲🥀🌺🌅 innovation..... good job..👍
Delhi mein leke aao..bahut zarurat hai
Bhai Dilli waale iss ka bomb bana kar aadhi Dilli udaa denge
@@vikashtjha ,😂
These buses are the way of the future
Is it safe ?
Since dihydrogen is very reactive gas.
That's a good effort from the Scotland Govt.
Water vapour is also a green house gas.🙄 but i think it is still better than CO🤷♀️
But it doesn't impact on climate change as much as CO2.
Water absorbs less infra red in comparison with co2 and co. So less green house effect
the amount of water vapour in air depends on temperature. Excess vapour will convert to water.
Water vapour emitted in the lower atmosphere doesn't reach the upper atmosphere. It becomes liquid before that.
Now make it as next conventional method of transport.
Chennai should relaunch double deckers, the roads are very congested.
Bangalore too bro
Nice idea. Using what we already know to solve contemporary problems.
i think more wider roads will solve the probem. roads are often too small in chennai as compared to other cities.
@@pradyumna3107 well, parties in tn are very much concerned about votes and they aren’t daring to expand roads, forget new expansion, they aren’t even daring to expand roads which have been occupied. If roads are expanded you will see some grp with some flag opposing it.
@@batsy_jr yes . what u say is 200% true. but this atrocities by political parties is very high in tn. we have to find a way to deal with these guys
Not gonna bring a dent of change but nice effort.
Countries with far less polluted compare to our country are taking good steps but while in India......
So lucky Scott land peoples
Fuel of future
Wish Indian politicians bother about the air quality here some time while we are alive!
India need this buses in Bangalore, Delhi and Mumbai...
In one of the most polluted countries in the world? Perhaps but I think an atomic bomb dropped on it would be less expensive and more cost effective and without India would be far better for the planet.
The question is- what is the source of this hydrogen as a fuel..Is it produced in an eco-friendly way?
Ya , in many places it is produced in eco friendly ways. The energy required to produce hydrogen is given by Solar PV which can be installed in
hydrogen pumps. Research is going on extensively on thus field.
anyone who don't know, but water vapour too contributes to global warming.
Not when it's emitted from ground level. It doesn't reach the uppper atmosphere
N omsairam omsairam omsaira omsairam omsairam omsaira omsairam omsairam omsaira omsairam omsairam omsaira
If I'm not mistaken weren't these built in northern Ireland
Water vapour is also a potential greenhouse gas!
Air can only hold so much water(100% humidity) after which it condenses, it at least has a limit unlike co2.
Happy Diwali 🎉
is it a GO or NGO?
What is the advantage of making a hydrogen propelled bus if hydrocarbons are needed to manufacture hydrogen
Well hydrocarbons are not NEEDED to make hydrogen. Some people just happen to use that instead of more sustainable methods.
Hydrogen is made from solar and wind in Scotland.
It is good . Save petroleum .
Water vapor if emit excessively it hazardous than co2
But I guess water vapour is also a GHG s
Well this looks safe...
Hydrogen is explosive one for using as fuel this was what we had studied in 10th standard??
All fuels are hazardous when they come in contact with fire. Everything needs to be handled carefully.
Wow
wow water will run the engine soon
From where hydrogen will come??
Solar and wind
Yeh sab toh thik hai par kitna deti hai !!!
Bhai kitna bhi de poora universe Hydrogen se bhara hua h to Hydrogen ki kami to nhi aane wali.
✨🎉🙏🙏
What's next?
Nitrogen as fuel, the most abundant gas or machines powered by small nuclear reactors designed for the purpose. These will possibly mark the next phase to power human civilization.
Today's innovation will create tomorrow's disaster
I must say world must move curiously towards these to decrease pollution
