Great video 👍🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻 Thank you. I'm having the same exact problem/code with 2007 Ford Freestyle. Unfortunately, Ford does NOT have that sensor/hose and can't find a new one ANYWHERE I have looked, including RockAuto,.... (I have no idea where to get a new one). However, the sensor looks very similar to the one for this F150 you just showed in this video, but the hoses are not the same. Any suggestions/tips on that? Thanks

If that sensor does not fix the P0453 code, then it's the ECU as I've checked EVERYTHING, and even bought new gas cap, purge & vent valve, checked wiring, fuel pump.... Except for this fuel tank pressure sensor & ECU.
Questiosn: once you replace this sensor, does it have to calibrated or take the car to Ford/shop for programming....of some sort? (I can clear/read codes, but can't do any programming or calibration....). Thx

What were the symptoms? Have this on a 2014 Taurus and it idles rough. Erase the code idles fine then comes right back and idles bad or dies.

I have code p0453 pressure sensor high circuit on my Hyundai. Have a rough idle. I changed the sensor,vapor vent canister and the purge valve. I removed the charcoal canister and checked it for blockage and did the same with all the lines. Still have the code and rough idle. Any suggestions?
Here are some things you can try to fix error code P0453:
Inspect the gas cap and clean it with WD-40
Repair or replace the wiring or connections
Visually examine the wiring harness and connectors for any damaged components
Check for power at the fuel tank pressure sensor
Check for a good ground in the system
If the high voltage disappears when unplugging the sensor, check for a good ground to the sensor and proper reference voltage
Yea, instead of guessing and throwing parts based on a code, take it to a professional that knows what they are doing

Was it idling bad or something, I have a 2003 Mitsubishi outlander 2.4 liter, and it idles rough, I've clean the EGR valve, out new mass air flow sensor, new wires and coil packs, new plugs, and still idles rough, runs good pressing gas, but idles rough, can't find any vacuum leaks, it's just stumped me, I can't think what it can be
Throttle body
Remove and clean the iac valve and throttle body then reinstall them and use your cars specific code to trigger a throttle relearn basically u have to press the break so many times and turn the air on and off or something weird and specific to your car and it makes the computer go into a mode where it forgets it's stored data and learns everything all over again and this makes a huge difference my car never idled below 1500rpms since i had it but after this it now idles at a easy 750 rpm even now 10 months later i never had any more issues
