I definitely know what you mean when it comes to responsiveness. It is, indeed, a tricky thing to get right. Thank you very much for your support, I appreciate it! 🙌
Thank you so much for this video, it's very helpful for a newbie. A naive question, how can I make this a global setting for buttons so everytime I add a new one, my changes may be minimal. Your guidance is greatly appreciated.
That's a great question and not naive at all! It's very simple. Enter your 'Site Settings' and then go under 'Buttons'. Once you're there, you're going to be able to change the default styling of buttons, for every one of your breakpoints. Once you add in a new button somewhere, it's going to have that default styling applied. You can, of course, still customize each button individually if you wish to. If you're unsure where to find this, I have a great video about these settings: th-cam.com/video/Sya3k4Iduxs/w-d-xo.html Thank you for your support, I appreciate it! 🙏
@@Reialesa thank you again for this video and your detailed response. This is so helpful to me as I continue to learn Elementor/Wordpress. THANK YOU!!!
Hi! If you don't quite understand how REM works, I recommend you check out my video about units in Elementor: th-cam.com/video/wKLXXE3Tq_c/w-d-xo.html Basically, REM is great for fonts, but it's not as responsive as percent for example. And for buttons, it's not really much different to using pixels. It's more adaptable - it adapts to the user's system and browser font preferences and it's good for accessibility. If a user has their font size set to be bigger than usual in their browser preferences, anything using REM is going to be bigger as well. For button padding, EM is great because it's going to adapt to the font size of the button. When you resize the font size, the padding gets resized proportionally. As for ''doing something wrong'' - a lot of these units are interchangeable and they depend on your needs and your audience. So using them, or using them wrong, is completely relative. I hope I answered your question! 💪
Simple and to the point GREAT tutorial. Thank you!
Love quick tips like this especially on responsiveness since that’s where I spend a lot of time guessing. Keep it up 👍

I'm using REM for everything, including button padding. Am I missing something or doing wrong?
