SSA INVINCIBLEx True. Buts it’s still a lot of fun to watch. If you’re a Chiefs fan, that is. I’ve been one since the 80’s. I used to look longingly at QBs like Dan Marino (who we could’ve picked. We picked a QB that 1st round), John Elway, Jim Kelley (Could’ve taken him too. We took another QB instead😭), Joe Montana, Aaron Rodgers, Brett Favre & I wondered if KC would EVER find a quarterback like that. Probably not, I figured, since they hadn’t taken a 1st round QB since 1983.
These last few years have been like a fever dream. One thing the Chiefs have been able to do is find good RBs (Christian Okoye, Priest Holmes, Larry Johnson, Ed Podolak, Jamaal Charles & Kareem Hunt) so I figured that when he was picked, he was going to destroy the joint. Let’s hope I’m right. Let’s also hope he doesn’t have a penchant for hanging around with underage girls in hotel rooms. Especially ones that can’t handle their liquor.🤞

Hey Alex! Great video! As a Clyde Edwards-Helaire fantasy owner, do you expect him to keep getting better each week? With no preseason, I think there have been a few weeks of adjustments since Week 1. More passing usage and less rush yards. He has a great matchup this week against LV, and I think he is close to that breakout game. Could be this week, could be soon. What do you think?

    • @AlexRollinsNFL

Great breakdown my friend. I watched the Chiefs/Texans game twice just to see Edwards-Helaire dominate again. I wish Shanahan got his hands on him. He looks like he has a chance to be the next great back in the mold of Lionel "Little Train" James, Darren Sproles, or Maurice Jones-Drew. It's remarkable that he is listed at 207 pounds at that height. Just at a glance you can see he's all muscle in that stout package. If Wolverine was a real person, this would be his body type. I'm curious to see if Andy Reid is going to use him in the pass game more just like James was used in Don Coryell's offense.

They're also gonna be able to keep Andys new passing tricks under their sleeve while CEH eats the clock and thus the season. Those plays are break glass when needed, and they wont need them.

Of all the possible players to fall to the Chiefs Clyde was my worst nightmare I was praying they just take a great defender. But now their offense is downright impossible to hold under 28. The Ravens and maybe the bears have a defense with enough skill to try to hold them under 35 but the rest of the league needs the chiefs to make mistakes which relies on Andy Reid or Pat Mahomes making mistakes, truly a terror.

I was worried (for the rest of the league) that CEH would end up on the chiefs and now it's happened everyone's gonna see just how good he can be lmao

The most important player in the Chiefs offense, by far, is Andy Reid. Mahomes is a distant second. If the Patriots hadn't been such a road block for them I think they represent the AFC in the Superbowl a couple times in the Alex Smith years. And part of that genius is building the roster so that he can attack the entire field almost every play, horizontally and vertically, with (an unfair and mostly flag-worthy selection of) downfield pick plays. Clyde is a perfect pick up for them. The Texans are a very suspect roster; can't wait to see them play a top defense and how it all shakes out.

@TheWhiteWhale He's always been an elite offensive coach. Now he has elite personnel and a smart defense to go with that.

I wouldn’t say Williams was the Achilles heel of the offense he was hurt for some of the season he really didn’t get regular play until final games and playoffs and he came up big

I'm a huge Chiefs fan, but one of the great things about the NFL is it's parity. Any team can win at any time. As Chiefs fans we need to remain humble and enjoy this while it lasts. Seize the day and celebrate, but by God do not abandon your sympathy and humanity. "Gather ye rosebuds while ye may, ol time is still a flying. And this same flower that smiles today, tomorrow will be dying."

They don’t need receivers. Their line is better than last because of signing (can’t remember guards name) and no injuries. Even better now that they have a back who can create from nothing.
