- Finally managed to get the game working fine on my PCSX2 emulator and so I have recorded the Intro of the game which made me cringe all the way through but well we are going to have a big adventure ahead of us! either way I would like you guys to share your thoughts on the game and of course don't forget to drop a Comment/Like :)

That line which is spoken by N.Gin also pretty much sums up the situation of most stories: No matter how much evil is in advantage, good always or very often finds a way to prevail and save the day. Bad guys rarely ever win truly.
@@IgorSalaj3578 I love how N.Gin is smart enough to know this but he's kind of stuck with Cortex due to his accident with the missile as Cortex was the one who took N.Gin in after the accident (according to Crash 2's manual anyway) so he at least gave N.Gin a place to live which probably explains his extreme loyalty to Cortex because N.Gin feels like he owes Cortex for that and its not like he has anywhere else to go due to society would most very likely shun him due to his appearance caused by the missile never mind his actions of helping Cortex in his plans for world domination.

Whether you like this game or not, I truly believe the ending of Crash 4 perfectly leads into this opening

But Tropy betrayed Cortex and Uka in 4 to seek romance with himself, why would he be back to a mook here? :P
@@e-122psi3 Because maybe uka uka forced him too, because he's more powerful, N. Tropy really didn't take over like he did in Crash 4 until Uka was out of the equation. Even if it was temporarily, Crash 4 ends with Uka reemerging in front of Cortex, it wouldn't take much imagination to believe he forced them all back together, even dingodile doesn't look to thrilled to be in the room in this video, and you can even get a hint of the passive aggressiveness N. Tropy has towards Cortex in this scene... I'm not saying this should make this game "DEFINITELY CANON" just saying it's possible
One question
Why would Dingodile be there, though? He blatantly said that if he were to fight Crash and Coco, it wouldn’t end well for him. Dingodile just straight up left being a villain.
@@metaknightjudgesyoursins4710 Yeah that's true but again Uka Uka is back now and not a single character in this WOC scene looks happy to be there😂, almost as if they're forced by Uka himself. And as far as him not a being a villain anymore, characters have switched sides before in this series and then switched back.
The moment we see the Crash 3 villains at the table, I called them The Legion Doom. They even have two Lex Luthor's.

Incredible opening to a phenomenal game from my childhood. i love Crash Bandicoot: Wrath of Cortex.

Despite the negative reviews I really enjoyed this game. The unique levels and music are really good. Endless hours playing on my PS2 as a kid.

This entire game gone wrong
I think they just forgot all the vocal sound effects the characters usually have. In Warped Clancy Brown's voice was pitched down to make it more booming, this is his Uka voice without it. N Gin lacks his mechanical reverb as well (though they remembered it in the foreign dubs).
This was one hell of an intro for a PS2 game, outside of Final Fantasy X.
The movement in this game was such a huge slap in my face compared to the smooth action in PS1 crash games.

My first Crash game back on the GameCube, fell in love with the series from that point on
Uka Uka is Activision and Cortex, N. Gin, N. Tropy, Tiny and Dingodile are Radical Entertainment. The chart that appears at the beginning is Crash Bandicoot sales. And Crunch, the thing that Cortex didn't want to suggest (because he knew it'd be bad) is the awful character redesigns used in Crash of the Titans. Note that this is set before the N Sane Trilogy.
I love how people call the titans redesign awful, I mean it's great to have an opinion but the MoM design was great!
Cortex never knows when to give up, he's evil. Crash defeated him before, he defeat Cortex again ending Cortexs wrath of terror.

I've been thinking: The game never mentioned how Cortex, N.Tropy and Uka Uka came back in the present day with the former two back in their normal age.
At least It's About Time shows that they were stuck for so long and Uka Uka opened a space time portal that maked him passed out and stuck in the past.

It’s because CTR and Wrath of Cortex take place after the normal ending of Warped where if Crash and Coco don’t get all the Gems to destroy the Time Twister, Cortex, N Tropy and Uka Uka escape. Leading to CTR.

Hi all. I agree that N. Gin is wise and says that Crash always finds a way to defeat them, and that it’s pointless to be evil and try to take over the world, because the good side always or very often finds a way to triumph in the end. And being under the command of Uka Uka is a pain in the rear, because Uka Uka always blames his allies/minions for the good side’s victories, so I think Uka Uka is the main antagonist of Crash Bandicoot, and not Cortex. Both Cortex and N. Gin should reform, stand up against Uka Uka and side with Crash and Aku Aku. Cortex serves as a good guy in Crash Twinsanity (until the ending cutscene when he starts hating Crash again), and I would like to see N. Gin as a good guy, because he is so cool. Ripper Roo, Dingodile and Tiny Tiger are cool as well, so they should also side with Crash and Aku Aku, so the good side gets more cool minor characters.
N.Gin is implied he was at least once a normal decent sane person prior to his missile accident as he had a normal job working in the defense industry (which isn't exactly what I call an evil job) then he had his accident resulting in his brain being severely damaged and altering his personality making him become insane. Yeah you could argue he went to Academy of Evil like Cortex did but you really think N.Gin liked it there or wanted to go? He possibly could have been forced to attend because of his parents as its implied his parents were abusive so maybe they made him attend so he wouldn't be around them (as some parents sadly do as to why they send their kids to boarding school) and in spite of going to a school that taught evil N.Gin just went "Screw that i'm not gonna let the school I went to define what I want to be" and got a job he was happy with but then his accident basically crushed that. Lets also take into account at the time of this game's release I don't think Academy Of Evil was even conceived as a concept yet.
I never liked how N.Gin didn't help Cortex to stop the Evil Twins in Twinsanity and was more interested in getting some treasure even though he's extremely loyal to Cortex. Like that was really OOC for N.Gin.
I thought Crash 4 was at least gonna have some moment after N.Gin's battle and when Cortex later teams up with Crash to defeat the two N.Tropies, N.Gin would at least show up to help Cortex in some very small way. At least the 100% epilogue gives us some hope for him being redeemed
I'd really like to see Coco and N.Gin teaming up since N.Gin and Coco are implied to have a rivalry due to they're both smart with tech and machines and of course their battle in Crash 3. So I would really love to see how these two would interact. Double how Crash 4 confirms N.Gin was Coco's mentor in the Flashback Tapes.

Does anybody have the instrumental for the first part the background music?
This is the first Crash Bandicoot game to be released on the original Xbox. In the Xbox version of the game, they added some more detail into Crash's fur (as well as the other 2 Bandicoots Coco and Crunch) and the loading times are a lot faster on Xbox than it does on PS2. I did played the PS2 version, but the Xbox version is much better.
What differences are between the ps2 to the xbox one that made it better?

If you ask me, they should've made N.Gin into an anti-villain or anti-hero or even into a villain that redeems himself. Especially since here he actually has the brains and guts to flat out say that fighting Crash is pointless because evil is never going to beat good. If you can't defeat your enemies, then you might as well join them and be on the winning side.
