Excellent video. I have tried a few things in this range and I'm impressed. The pate is nice and there frozen curries to. They also do frozen battered fish, it's not cod though, it's white fish but it still tastes ok. From what I have tried in the Asda essential range so far I'm really impressed. The bulk of it is actually nicer than the well known brands or normal supermarket range. I remember people not being happy with the coloured packaging in the essentials range, personally I can't see any issues with it and I have no shame buying essentials range, more so now with the cost of living crisis. Even the Stockwell range at Tesco is nice. If you can save a bit on food then you can have money for other things like paying bills. A lot of people are economising now, most of us are all in the same boat to some degree and as I have said there is no shame in buying budget range. Price comparison wise to regular brands the budget range in lots of case's is actually nicer, even when prices fall I certainly won't be going back to regular brands.
It really is so good for the price and like you say at the minute with everything going on with the financial crisis it really is amazing that asda have done this for everyone, at the end of the day food is food and if people are gunna but more expensive food just becaise of the packaging that at the end of the day is going to be put in the bin each to their own but not for me
