if we want to do upgrade of the horizontal clustered domain how can we do one by one ? we have to stop entire domain and first we have to do in one machine and copy the domain to other machines by doing pack and unpack right in this scenario with out stopping servers how can we do upgrade ?
Hi Sir, can we Upgrade Weblogic 12.1.3.0 to 14c latest version on Linux, we have two machines, domain extended to second machine with 4 nodes on each machine? or we need to upgrade WLS to 12.2.1.4 first, then upgrade to 14C latest one? Thank you.
You can upgrade directly from 12.1.3 to 14.1.1. Only Weblogic versions prior to 10.3.0 need to upgrade to 10.3.6 first and then any later versions 10.3.x, 12.1.x and 12.2.x can upgrade to 14.1.1 directly.
@@digitak.middleware ok, thank you so much, do we have an upgrade installer from Oracle to upgrade to 14.1 on the existing Oracle_Home for 12.1.3.0, any major changes in 12.2.1.4 and wls 14c?
No upgrade installer. You have to install 14.1.1 in the new Oracle Home and then run reconfiguration to upgrade your existing domain to point to new binaries
Wil u provide training

@@digitak.middleware thank you sir. We have WebLogic 12.1.3.0 on Java1.8, which version of WebLogic version upgrade is recommended? 12.2.1 or 14.1.1?
It's always advisable to upgrade to the latest version, go for 14.1.1
if we install weblogic and jdk in the same location no need to run reconfig then what is the process ?
No relation of jdk and reconfig. Jdk you can install anywhere and jdk Is the basic requirement to run any Java based app server
what is rolling upgradation ?
Nothing called roling upgrade. You have to stop entire domain for upgrade
One to one iam interested
