Hello @chopped strand Audio , I wanted to import sounds and I have questions: I named them this way: ( AD stands for my name ) > AD KICK(1) AD KICK(2) AD KICK(3) / AD SNARE(1) AD SNARE(2) / AD FX (1) AD FX (2) etc... but I have a long list , with different categories , Rumbles , snares , kicks , fx etc... , I wanna upload as many samples as I can. But, I noticed when I am looking for a sample for my projects , that even when they are sorted this way / named this way , they dont appear in the right order when I scroll with the Value knob. Can you advise on how to sort or rename the samples so that when I scroll and look for a sample , they appear grouped by Genre / category , in a kind of logical order ? thanks in advance Adrien
Even though this a good solution to SD samples, constantly unplugging and plugging that usb cable is going to g to be no good for that usb port,I can’t believe they’ve got this part of the tr8s so wrong as it’s such a good machine
I believe you still need an SD card in the TR8s for this to work. That's an important step!
You're right. I just tried it out. That should be mentioned.
nice one, btw for the TR-6S it's the sample button that you need to press on boot
Love your videos!
Thanks man, you freaking rock. I learn soo much from your videos, super simple to follow and informative
Haha, I'm glad I could help :) Thank you
Your vids are very smart. Keep on that way, thanks
Thanks, will do!
very useful thanks!
Wishing you success, thank you.
Thank you :)
Merci je vais l’essayer demain, bonne soirée à vous, ici à l’Île de la Réunion il est 22:50
What a good content in this channel ! This trick isn't in the Manual? Because a lot of people don't know about this option, I think
Thank you for the great feedback. I could not find any information about the sample import via usb in the manual. So, I think you are right :)

Can I add Roland tr8s expansion packs like this?
thanks man! Strangely the tr8s drive doesn't show up on my macbook when I do this procedure.
It works on my mac but you need an SD card plugged into the TR8S. You are actually writing direct to the card from the computer.
@@Zefukey Thanks for this.
How did you hook up the op-1 to the tr 8s
Can I preview the samples somehow before I import?
Bit late. but for anyone else, press sample and it will audition the sound
@@tomymeeson1 thanks man!

I agree, very important function however not much what we can do about that :)
Get a short extension cable. Keep one end in the socket. Voila
My Mac don’t see the tr-8s
Did you install the drivers?
But you still need the SD card 😅
