Nah not for me. Could instantly tell based on footwork and stability. The guys who always have to move their legs more to regain stability seemed to lose. Plus nobody names their selves dad bod and isn't actually good at fighting or strong.

@@timmartin638 it's an advantage for the one wearing shoes because his feet will less likely suffer damage from kick-contact (yes you can hurt your own foot by kicking someone), moreover the rubber in the shoes can cause skin burn damage depending on how it rubs against the other person's skin.
I've only competed in grappling. One of the things that's kept me from competing in kickboxing or MMA is the fear that I would get immediately starched! 😂. Also I'm old and would definitely get injured in training. 😝
