@@StamfordBridge They've run it with both five and six cars in the trains interchangeably.
I suppose they do this to be able to do inspections without sacrificing multiple train operation AND maintaining year round operation (and not having to own a third train just for this purpose).
@@Danrarbc All I know is they had annoying one-train ops on this, and everything else, which made a Tuesday in February feel like a Saturday in July.
The ride regulations in Mexico are less restricting as far as how many g’s, back to back elements, etc. RMC went all out that pacing was impeccable
The only regulations you will find here are about safety and construction. None regarding layouts and forces.
I can tell it's true due to the La Feria incident or maybe that was the parks fought.
Our legislators do not focus on that because there are practically three or four amusement parks in all of Mexico with roller coasters and a presence similar to or very close to Six Flags.
This is an ridiculous idea. No state in the USA has any specific limits on forces or “element” frequency. ASTM International publishes limits on forces but these are industry guidelines, not laws. Amusement parks follow them because it’s in their best interest to keep parks safe for their customers.
I don’t think any other place has restrictions either? This ride isn’t built any differently from any other RMC

in person it feels like its never ending, one of the best roll elements out there for sure!

The previous Medusa was my first roller coaster but I’m happy they changed it, it was super rough, easily the worst in the park and now it’s the best one
This is one of the more unique RMCs I’ve seen.
Now you just need to go back to Europe for Untamed and Zadra and you’ve ridden every rmc. Then you could do a remaking of your RMC coasters list with all 22
Plus you got ArieForce One and WWFOC opening in the USA. So I guess it is 24 you can rank.

i rode this for the first time today and it was so intense, i couldn't catch my breath but i loved it!! it was also my first time riding an RMC and i hope to ride many more :)

Yo hace poco he ido a Six Flags, y de verdad que esta es la mejor de las atracciones del parque prsonalmente. Es increible subirte en ella por toda la adrenalina de velocidad, hoy, he decidido ver el video, y de verdad "recordar es vivir"
Si tienen la oportunidad de ir al parque, de verdad vayan, no se arrepentiran, "mas vale recordar que imaginar"

It’s definitely one of the better ones
It was seriously underrated for actual years, but people are now starting to realize how good it is lately. It's easily a top5 RMC
For me, it looks like the weakest RMC. The airtime moments don’t look that strong, and it focuses a lot on banked turns.

Just rode this a week ago in the rain omg it was amazing … it like sinks into the scenery and the entrance to walk to Medusa is amazing … America needs to watch out some of these international themed rides is ass kicking

You need to get down to San Antonio and ride Iron Rattler & Wonder Woman (I’m assuming you’re in Texas)

RMCs layouts are so much more creative than everyome elses, always looking for thst little extra pop of airtime, ir a subverting element like a wave turn you thought was going to be a corkscrew.
There probably are staff at the other companies that would want to design this but have been shot down by their higher ups for it being too crazy. Then RMC comes along and makes a llad of the best rides ever seen and suprisingly enough everyone loves them. And they're actually way cheaper than the big fancy steel coasters

@@cruzmartinez7955 Superman se disfruta más porque sus curvas son largas. Medusa es muy agresiva e intensa. Cada una tiene lo suyo. Yo prefiero Superman que Medusa.

My first thought was wow that’s a fast lift. I know that’s a weird thought but I’m so used to jokers slow lift.
When we went, they told us they switched out the steel wheels because it ran too fast and was causing too much stress. Wish I got to ride it like that. They were also watering the coaster when we were there lol. Mark has a video of it somewhere
I have a wish. I want to ride with you guys! I want to enjoy coasters the way it was meant to be enjoyed.

One suggestion for future videos... could you please include the metric conversions with ride stats? It helps when comparing with international rides & is a more inclusive experience for an international audience as it helps us appreciate the ride stats at the same time as American viewers 👍
For example, 58 miles per hour sounds slow when the average residential street in Australia is 50-60 km/h... much more impressive when you understand that it's actually over 90 kilometres per hour, which is highway speed 😊

Now for the important question: is it better than Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster?
This ride pulls amazing forces for being under 100 feet. There’s so much ejector airtime around the layout and I could tell it’s more of a mixed experience with airtime and just the coaster using it’s Terrain. That off axis hill and hill after the over bank are both pretty strong and give great ejector. Overall experience 7/10 because the operators do staple you every time, or maybe i had a bad day with bad operators, the qeue is VERY long and often not very full, and there is a pothole at the bottom of the drop.
Its pacing looks really good but it does the same thing a few times in a row

I was a 12-year-old girl wearing a black puma jacket and a lady was standing next to me.
if anyone knows a girl who speaks english, who is probably over 18 years old and has been to six flags mexico in any of the years 2018-2019, please let me know‼️😔. The girl had a style like emo, dark or gothic, a clear characteristic of her is that she was wearing black pants, she was accompanied by a guy and she had brown eyes, I think her eyes were dark brown.
i saw this girl in six flags mexico, just at night, in any of the years 2018-2019 we were in the waiting line of the roller coaster "medusa steel coaster" she and the guy were behind me. The boy had hair that was sort of black or brown and the girl had hair that was dyed blonde, her blonde hair had a platinum hue with a bit of yellow.
I made eye contact with this girl several times. this text is summarized, those are not all the features

It's a 2014-15 coaster. It was a thing back then but obviously there's always new stuff to talk about

Is it just me or does the pacing look horrendous? I'm sure it's a great ride but people are always talking about wicked cyclone's pacing...
Once you learn the ride it becomes extremely smooth and fun. First rides are rough and confusing, but past the 4th or 5th you know exactly how to move your body around.

Yep. It is one of the better RMCs. Especially when compared to Twisted Cyclone.
