hi Tom! I’m stopping back to tell you I just tried your instructions and it worked like a charm! I can’t tell you what a game changer this is! I thought I needed to adopt a whole new streaming platform in order to stream to Facebook and TH-cam simultaneously. You have just shown me that I already have that capability within Zoom. I cannot thank you enough. I’ll be sharing your video with my fellow Yoga teachers on FB. 😊😊 I’m saving your video link because I know I’ll be returning to it often.
Can a co-host on Zoom add Live Streams? The reason I ask is because I want to live stream to my TH-cam, but someone else wants to stream to their Facebook, and someone else to their TikTok. Meaning 3 different owners of the social accounts who will all be presenting on Zoom.
I have not tested that, though if it doesn't work, I think you could make them host and them claim it back later. This actually worked well for my conference in March to TWO designations. I have not tested three, although the "Live Streaming" App page says "If you’re using Zoom to create and stream live content, this app is for you! With the Live Streaming App by Zoom, you can stream to Twitch, TH-cam, Facebook, and custom RTMP destinations, individually or with up to **3** streams at once." So I think this will work for you. What we did is stream to MY TH-cam Channel and another group's Facebook Page. So before every event, we got together with the tech guys of their Facebook page and I got the correct settings from THEM and entered them into the places I showed here in my Zoom application. You may have to do it this way.
Ahhh, good point. The accounts don't need to be connected via login; someone just needs to be able to login and get the Live details. Is TikTok an option for live streaming from Zoom? @@TomQsTechTips
Thank you for this very thorough explanation and demonstration. It appears from your demo that TH-cam is much easier to navigate when Zoom streaming and with better results. Facebook has quite a long delay and your sound didn’t sync with the video. Think I’ll stick with live-streaming to TH-cam for now but like the ability to stream to 2 platforms at once. Also appreciate seeing how you create a custom stream so I can bypass opening my channel up to Zoom. Great job! 😊
Thanks for the comment. I think TH-cam streams better quality, but I'm doing an online conference in a couple of weeks with a group that has 20,000 followers on Facebook so... it is what it is. I'm going to stream to both. I used the TH-cam login (and gave Zoom control over my channel 😱) and I will admit it was cool to have the comments from TH-cam come into Zoom, but after about an hour it started generating errors. So I think I'm gonna stick to Custom Stream.
Good question. Zoom “LIVE Streaming” App only works to send a Zoom meeting or a Zoom webinar to two different platforms. If I wanted to LIVE Stream some other event (let’s say the output of a video switcher) then I would need something like Streamyard.
Update: the "Live Streaming" App page now says: "If you’re using Zoom to create and stream live content, this app is for you! With the Live Streaming App by Zoom, you can stream to Twitch, TH-cam, Facebook, and custom RTMP destinations, individually or with up to 3 streams at once."
Search for @OfficeHoursGlobal From their TH-cam channel: “In March of 2020, deep in the dark days of COVID, a handful of media artists began meeting every day, seven days a week, to trade notes and fend off the isolation. “Two years later, @OfficeHoursGlobal has become a global community of over 5,000 media and event professionals; We still meet each day to learn from each other, work with each other, and forge a new path for their industries…”

Thank you for taking the time to come back to say that. I agree about this being a game changer.

This worked amazingly for us!
Thanks for coming back to say so Eddy!
Hi Tom, there are various other streaming platforms. Does something like Streamyard serve a purpose, or can you simply use Zoom?
