Homework answers - 1( a) tungsten. (b) copper. (c) nicrome ( nickle, chromium, manganese, iron) ( d) constantan ( copper, nickel) 2nd - The coil of the electric heater is made up of Nicrome alloy which has high resistivity and because of this property the current flowing through it convert electrical energy into heat energy. And allow it to glow. Where as the cord of the electric heater is made up of copper metal which has low resistivity hence the allow the flow of current not allow to glow.

Constantan Q2 bcz cord is made up of good conductor of electricity like cu which as low resistivity but heating element is made up of material having high resistivity thus having high resistance. We know heat is directly proportional to resistance so cord not glows.
27:55 Q1 Tungsten Copper Nichrome ( alloy of nickel and chromium) Alloy of copper and nickel Q2 Coil of heater glows but not so with chord because of resistivity; nichrome has higher resistivity as compared to wire made of copper.
27:49 Q1. 1. Tungston 2. Copper 3. Nichrome 4. Nickle and Copper Q2. Cord does not glow because it is made up of metal which has low resistivity and coil glows because it is made up of an alloy which has an intermediate resistivity.
Electric heater is made up of alloy, which has very high resistance,so coil is glow, and cord is made by copper, have very low resistance so it does not glow
29:00 because the cord is made up of copper which is a metal and its resistivity is low and thus its resistance whereas the coil is made up of nichrome which is an alloy and have high resistivity as compared to copper(cord) due to which enough heat is produced and the coil glows. Hope it will help others.
Q.2. Answer : Because the heating element of the heater is made of an alloy known as Nichrome! which has high resistance so, when current flows through Nichrome coil, it becomes hot and glows.⚡ But, cord i.e. wire is made up of copper i.e. metal which has low resistance and when current passes through,it doesn't glow!🔥
Very good explanation sir , u teach physics very smoothly and friendly u also give motivation to us , when you teach physics ,I realize that physics so easy
1. 1. W 2. Cu 3. Nichrome 4. Cu+ni 2. Cord does not glow but coil does so as cord is made up of cu but coil is made up of nichrome and ρ nichrome > ρ cu ⇒R nichrome > R cu ⇒H nichrome > R cu Thus, heat is more produced in nichrome and as we know that heat energy converts into light energy. Therefore, coil made up of nichrome will glow brighter.
27:55 #electricity. #physicswallahfoundation Because sir heater is made up of alloy which has high resistance so when current flows the it becomes hot and starts glow And cord is copper wire which is an conductor have low resistance that's why cod not glowsss
1.tungesten 2.copper 3.nichrome 4.copper nickel alloy Q2Because the cord is made of copper which has low resistivity therefore does not produce much heat and glow while the coils are made of nichrome which has high resistivity and produced heat and glows

The elements which are used to make:
i. Filament of the bulb: Tungston
ii. Connecting wire: copper
iii. Heating Element: Nichrome :- Nickel - Chromium
iv. Fuse Wire :- Cu-Ni -) Copper-Nickel
2. The Resistivity of Cord is higher in comparison to that of the Coil. That's why the Coil produce more heat than the Cord and due to this the Coil glows and the Cord doesn't.
The resistivity of cord is less 🧐

Q1) 1. Tungsten
2. Copper
3. Nichrome
4. Cu-Ni alloy
Q2) Coil of the heater is made of alloy. Alloys have more resistivity and thus, they have more resistance. Due to more resistance, the coil produces more heat and glows while the cord doesn't.
Element name
1. Tungsten
2. Copper
3. Nichrome
4. Copper- nickle alloy
Ans2--the cord of the electric heater does not glow because it is made up of metal such as aluminium copper etc. but coil is made up of nichrome alloy which has ability to produce more heat and light .
The chord of the electric heater does not glow but coil does because the heater heating element is made up of an alloy that has very high resistance so when current flows through the heating element it becomes too hot and glows red but the chor resistance is usually of copper or aluminium is low so it does not glow..

Homework answers -
1( a) tungsten.
(b) copper.
(c) nicrome ( nickle, chromium, manganese, iron)
( d) constantan ( copper, nickel)
2nd - The coil of the electric heater is made up of Nicrome alloy which has high resistivity and because of this property the current flowing through it convert electrical energy into heat energy. And allow it to glow. Where as the cord of the electric heater is made up of copper metal which has low resistivity hence the allow the flow of current not allow to glow.
Filament of bulb - Tungsten
Connecting wires - copper
Heating element - nichrome ( Alloy)
Fuse wires - copper & nickel
Ans- because coil has high resistance then the cord
or another answer for 2 question is cord is made of copper but coil is made of nichrome which has high resistivity than copper

60W bulb have high resistance
Electric heater is made up of alloy, which has very high resistance,so coil is glow, and cord is made by copper, have very low resistance so it does not glow
Good you make perfect answer
Tungsten has got the property of glowing but PVC hasn't
29:00 because the cord is made up of copper which is a metal and its resistivity is low and thus its resistance whereas the coil is made up of nichrome which is an alloy and have high resistivity as compared to copper(cord) due to which enough heat is produced and the coil glows.
Hope it will help others.
hi
hello
Yes
Q.2.
Answer : Because the heating element of the heater is made of an alloy known as Nichrome! which has high resistance so, when current flows through Nichrome coil, it becomes hot and glows.⚡
But, cord i.e. wire is made up of copper i.e. metal which has low resistance and when current passes through,it doesn't glow!🔥

1.
1. W
2. Cu
3. Nichrome
4. Cu+ni
2. Cord does not glow but coil does so as cord is made up of cu but coil is made up of nichrome and
ρ nichrome > ρ cu
⇒R nichrome > R cu
⇒H nichrome > R cu
Thus, heat is more produced in nichrome and as we know that heat energy converts into light energy.
Therefore, coil made up of nichrome will glow brighter.
Filament of the bulb: Tungsten
Connecting wire: copper
Heating element: Nichrome
Fuse wire: cu-ni(alloy)
