- Our second Sneak Peek video with the Hot Wheels Design Team, filmed at the Hot Wheels Convention in LA earlier this month. This time the legendary Phil Riehlman joins me to discuss Elite64, 1:43, and the special RLC model he designed to celebrate 30 years with Mattel.

That Bugatti is cool. And they can use the skinny tires to make 30s Audi, Alfa and Mercedes Grand Prix cars. Love the 1/43 cars. I’m getting those.

1/43 isnt big, its just bigger.
They're going to have to take a lot of material off that 280Z to get it down to a 240Z.
What are those Porsches in the front row? Were those discussed in another video?
I’m not buying a newer 1/43 scale unless my favorite car comes out but I don’t think the line will last until then. Who knows the skyline might keep the line going a bit. I’m thinking long and hard about buying a elite 64 car second hand.

@@IdontKnow-jt2oz I don’t like telling people because of people cussing me out and negativity that I got in the past. I have 5 favorite cars and no hot wheels won’t make 2 of them anymore. Yes the DeLorean is one of my favorites. My other favorite cars are the Mercedes Benz 300 SL Gullwing, Ferrari Enzo, and Ferrari Dino 246 GTS, and lastly 1965 Alfa Romeo Giulia Sprint GTA. I have diecast of all 5 of them.

The 1/43, for the price it's asked, should at least have some moving parts. As is, it should be $15. That's my opinion.
At least plastic headlights/taillights. So they can properly compete with other remarkable brands.

For $25, the 1/43 should be much higher quality. The molds and details are sloppy AF.

I really hope they fix that wheel fitment on the E30 wagon before release. I’m going to be very disappointed if the wheels sit that far into the body on the production version…
