Have you ever wondered what a classical guitar sounds like? How does an acoustic guitar sound? which sounds better? 😎 when comparing a classical guitar and an acoustic guitar ? 🙂 Acoustic Guitar vs Classical Guitar #acousticvsclassic #acousticguitar #classicalguitar - บันเทิง
OMG TYSM UR THE FIRST PERSON I HAVE FOUND THAT PLAYS THE SAME SONG FOR BOTH GUITARS :D
Nice pfp! And yeah that's rare to find lol
@@unvailablechannel ik and its rlly annoying bc like ITS MEANT TO BE A COMPARISON NOT SEE HOW GOOD I AM ON BOTH THESE GUITARS ty btw
is nobody gonna comment on how this guy is basically staring into your soul while he plays, lmao
It's not a matter of choice between two guitars. It's a matter of playing style and musical taste. If you're gonna want to play classical music, flamenco, bossa nova or Arabic songs then it's a classical or nylon string guitar technically. But if it's bluegrass, rock, pop... then a folk or steel string one is for you.
Of course, this isn't a strict rule.. it's like a general rule of thumb.. You can play whatever you want on whatever guitar type as long as it could be played without obstacles.. (for example, for flamenco, you cannot perform most of the techniques on steel strings cuz they're not flexible enough and the techniques are a bit physical so the strings nature could interfere with your playing and make it harder UNLESS you wanna create a new way of playing like some did with a pick on electric guitar to play some flamenco tunes).
Ahh i see! My dad's acoustic guitar got damaged and Im ordeeing replacements for some parts or it, and I took a look at his classical guitar. I was so confused, like why did it sound so weird when I tried to play songs that were supposed (I guess not strictly supposed, but the tutorial I watched was) to be played on an acoustic one haha. I struggled for 2 hours, till I discovered there was andifference. What a shame, I really liked the look and feel of a classical guitar. But i suppose itll be good to try some songs that I had no intention of playing on it for a change :DD
@@bloomenvogel It all comes down to enjoying yourself. Experiment, see what you like no matter what other ppl do or say.
And for electric guitars?
they're a whole other ball park lol @@Weeping_lover
Acoustic sounds more metallic and classical sounds more clear.
I would not describe it as clear, more like its softer
I'd say the correct terminology, is classical is warm, and acoustic is bright.
I would also describe acoustic as metallic. It has its charm.
Acoustic guitar is also a bit echoic
I think the acoustic sounds more metallic because he is using a pick. Strumming with the fingers make it sound a bit softer
Lol I'm in love with classical, I didn't know they were that different
Damn, I didn't think there was such a big difference
Now I wanna buy both 😢
lol same
Definitely classical
Very helpful. Thanks! 😀
Harmonics on classical sound so beautiful 🥹
Thanks for makin me decide for classical !
Classical guitar sounds warm and smooth. Acoustic guitar sounds clear and sharp. I want to learn playing guitar, my taste is more of rock and pop, which one would be the better beginner guitar?
Acoustic
Acoustic is better if you have a rock taste.
Acoustic guitars and Electric guitars have the same string type, which is steel. Classical string type is Nylon.
Having the same string type as Electric guitar should help you get that rock feel.
accoustic also imo sound better when strumming chords.
And for pop, sad music and classical? What's the best choice?
Classical
Twoooo!!! the sound is amazing!! I love it!
I love how this comment section reflects the different guitar cultures around the world.
Im from Spain, and most of us (those who play the guitar), play the spanish guitar, wich is basically a classical guitar. We use classical guitar even for playing spanish popular rock songs and every pop song at parties. It the guitar for everyday use, you can find it on the street, at family gatherings, and when we make some fiesta with friends. Having an acoustic is for people who really want to play blues, or want the specific sound of it. It feels that in the US is right the opposite, and I love it because it means there are multiple ways of understanding guitar and guitar playing. I've just ordered my first acoustic guitar and im so eager for it to arrive
I love my classic because it does pinch harmonics very well and if I place my strum hand slightly over the strings it makes all the chords sound like that as well. Classical for the win.
Im having issues getting a good enough sound with the pick when I strum.
No problem when I play or strum with my fingers, so I dont understand what Im doing wrong with the pick. Is it because it's a classical guitar?
@@egemenozan5641 thanks for bringing this up! I highly suggest thinner guitar picks to reduce getting caught up feeling on strings. Get some .46 mm. I also want to mention that I use Martin acoustic steel strings instead of nylon
Enjoy both. But I play acoustic more, since it's the only guitar I have for now 😁
I like both.
I like acoustics more but I have big hands so I can only play classical.
I am getting ready to buy a classical for the same exact reason
Both are beautiful ❤
I have enjoyed the acoustic more due to its cleaner output.
what is the model of that classical guitar? If anyone knows, please tell me
I like the steel strings more! ✨
Although I have found nylon strings to be kinder on my fingers.
Rahmat sizga kattakon ❤
Wow I fell in love with the classical
I had an acoustic
2 - Acoustic guitar of course:)
What is the name of the second song? So beautiful.
Damn I just love the buzziness and whistles of acoustic.
Both sounds are fine but I do like a smaller neck so acoustic seems good.
But at the same time acoustic guitar have steel string that might discourage me from learning due to the pain. So classical seems better. But classical have a wider neck which is disadvantage to my small hands.
Choices. 😅Thinking... I tried the steel string ones at the guitar shop the other day and it hurts my fingers. Is it possible to ask them to swap steel strings to nylon ones on a acoustic guitar? xDDDD I guess it is possible since nylon is weaker than steel strings.
But I notice there is ball like thingy at the bottom end of the acoustic guitar. I wonder if it can support nylon strings.
no, not at all, you can't switch nylon for steel or vice versa. Steel strings need more tension which classical guitars are not designed for and nylon strings on acoustic will make the guitar sound like a cardboard box with strings on it. What I recommend is to buy a nylon guitar with a narrow neck. Some Nylon string guitars are designed for people like you who didn't start on classical guitars and prefer a narrow neck, look into those type of guitars
your fingers will grow calluses and you won't feel pain after a while, with the metal strings. But it is a huge impediment initially. With classical guitars, you aren't supposed to use your thumb, so the neck shouldn't matter. It's a totally different style of playing. It really depends which type of music you want to play. If you want the guitar to be more like a piano, classical is the way. If you just want to strum acoustic is the way
If you like classical but prefer to have a smaller neck go for cort cec7 they are classical guitat but with smaller neck very suit for jazz guitarist.
I have XL hands. Well, I wear extra large gloves and someone shaking my hand one time said it's like grabbing a mit. I don't mean skinny hands with long fingers.
I struggle to get my fingertip on only one string. I've wondered if I should try classical just because the strings are farther apart.
What other ideas do you have?
Just go for classical 🥰
1 for sure
ima have to go with the classical

i am new - what size is this guitar in the video?

Great video! Acoustic for the win! Can anyone tell me what the first song is called? I really want to learn that one, so beatifull!
Heart of Gold
@@cnytkcbykthe last one?
What is the 2nd classical guitar song
Leo Brouwer - Un dia de noviembre. Look the performance by Ali Arango on the Festival Sor channel. It's amazing.
Whats the name of the second song?
Stop it, I can't choose.
I think I'll just buy both.
Anyday classical guitar 🦋🖤
Classical. Acoustic sounds too metallic for my taste.
exactly, it can sound harsh sometimes. Classical always sounds elegant and calming and is also better for fingerstyle while acoustic is good for strumming and chords
Acoustic for sure
Classical for me

Can you put steel strings on a classical in case you need it for one song? Anybody thanks
no, could break it because of strain
@@nyaknife7778 thank you
2 definitely
If you singing while play the guitar you should buy a acoustic guitar.
If you play the finger style you the classic guitar give the feeling more better.
1.
1 for sure. LOVE that classical guitar sound!
Acoustic best
2 but I bought 1🥲
Guide me to buy a guitar ... acoustic or classic (beginner level)
I'm hearing fukai mori.
deffinetly acoustic sounds better
The strings make the difference. 😊
Definitely classical...😍
Classical
Nylon has a far more melodic, clear sound than metal. If you are a fan of rock then go with metal.
Leads with classical and chores with acoustic..
Tao thích đệm hát bằng classic 😂😂😂 acoustic chói tai lắm
Classical 100%
2-
1 and 2. cant decide
😁😁😁😁😁
Classical is the best
The classical sounds way better I don’t understand why they invented the acoustic and I’ve been playing it for a couple years now I wish I’d been playing the classical instead 😂
Wtf acoustic sounds SO MUCH better 😂 I thought there were a little differences but i think Im wrong
Weird...I had the opposite reaction, actually
Preferred classical
