My mom got married at 30. She was told she couldn't have kids. She got pregnant with me at 40. She had preeclampsia. I was born 3 months early at 1 pound 8 oz. I'm a junior in HS now. And I'm very healthy! So trust me it'll happen it just takes time :)
Edit: omg I didn't expect to get this many likes 😱 thanks :)

I have a story! I love telling this story too...
my aunt had cervical cancer twice! They told her that she’d never have a child. My mom got pregnant with me while my aunt was trying and it broke her down... she had a name picked out for her baby since she was a teenager that name was Candace (my name)... she asked my mom to give me that name because she thought she’d never have her own.... years later she finally conceived and she couldn’t believe it, she didn’t want to get attached to her baby growing inside her so didn’t call it a baby when referring to her belly she said “the fetus is” the fetus is a girl, the fetus is 6months it was heartbreaking for her caz she had miscarriages and the doctors gave up on it ever happening they had so little faith they basically were waiting on this pregnancy to fail the whole time....long story short my beautiful cousin is 10 years old and her name is Destiny!

It hurt even more to tell ppl that we lost the baby😥. That experience taught us not to announce anything until after 12 weeks because most miscarriages happen in the 1st 12 weeks. We fell pregnant again 3 weeks after the miscarriage and we're now blessed with 3 gorgeous children. WON'T HE DO IT!!🙌 I believe it'll happen for you girl🙏. Praying for you. *Virtual hug*

Hang in there. I started trying to get pregnant in 2014... I had one miscarriage in 2014.. We kept trying then 2 years later in Nov 2016 I got pregnant again but it was an ectopic pregnancy so I had to remove my left fallopian tube along with baby they told me it would be harder to get pregnant with just one tube. So 2 months after surgery we started trying again because we thought it would take us forever to get pregnant but little did we know Feb 2017 we got pregnant again and it was a successful one. We are now blessed with a baby girl and I had her at 33yo. Yes it's annoying when people say it will happen when the time is right but I truly believe it will when the time is right.

oiat the first thing she has to let go of is the fact that she can determine who is deserving of pregnancy or not for example saying “ deadbeats are popping out kids” God is the giver of life and he blesses who he chooses. He sees the heart we see the outside and the actions. All I’m saying is that once she take her eyes and mind off who is getting pregnant and why can’t she get pregnant it will happen for her.

I can say one thing that is annoying as a married woman, been trying to get pregnant for 3 years now, that at least for me I don't like being asked about it. So many people ask us all the time when are y'all gonna have a baby, or saying y'all need to hurry up and have a baby or saying its weird that we have been married for so long and haven't had any babies. I know that people mean no harm and they are just curious or confused or ready themselves for you to procreate but it hurts to be asked all these questions when you are trying and its not happening for you, there is no on/off switch for getting pregnant it'll happen when it happens so just stop asking. That goes even if the couple is not trying to get pregnant you are not the one who has to take care of the child when it comes along, so it really is none of your business the child making process is between the couple and God.

Omg kaylin YES!! Been married 5.5 years now and been trying for 4.5 years. People ask ALL the time. I also am 31 and they act like I'm a crypt keeper. My mom told me I should just be honest about our struggles but to me that's very painful and im not ready to deal witth the comments. Like ive heard people tell couples struggling with infertility that they arent meant to Have kids. I cant deal with that negativity. Hang in there babe! We will become mothers one way or another!

I'm going through the exact same thing! Except my husband and I have kept everything way under wraps. Literally nobody knows we have been trying for a baby for the past year. I miscarried at 7 weeks in January, like four days before my appointment was due to check and confirm all was OK. I would have been due next week so it's hitting me harder than it did back in Jan. Since nobody knows our parents and others keep asking when and why and we just lie our way through it but it really winds me up and can get so frustrating!! Like please, back off!

In our society, having a baby early in life is so frowned upon. We're expected to finish college and have jobs and get married before we have kids. And by then we're either close or already in our 30s. By that time it does make it a little tougher for us to have a baby. I'm not saying we should get pregnant in our teens, but early and mid 20s is the best time. I don't think we're ever really "ready" to have a baby because when they come, we all experience the same thing. Sleep deprivation, depression, frustration, weight gain, etc. Anyways good luck to any one trying to conceive

Adrienne speaks about the frustrations of trying to have family. I was married 6 years before I became pregnant and miscarried. We were pressured by family and friends. Being asked if i couldn't be pregnant prior to my pregnancy.
I just didn't feel like i needed to explain myself. I knew why weren't starting a family. I am pregnAnt with my second child and my husband and I feel so blessed. I also appreciate that we had all this time to be a couple after 7 years married. We have traveled and had our fun. So we are prepared to have this bundle of joy. God knew what he was doing with choosing now. Adrienne doesnt need to explain herself. That is between her and israel. Support them in their journey.

I feel the exact same way as Adrienne!! Never thought it would be this hard to get pregnant when there’s teenagers, unfit parents, and those that aren’t really “trying” that seem to easily get pregnant. It’s a hard pill to swallow that it doesn’t just happen...no scares or anything. I’m getting older, so are our parents and I would like for my children to have their grandparents growing up in some way! It’s not easy. I think and pray about it constantly...God Bless you Adrienne, it will happen!

This is a great reminder that I am not the only one going through this . I had my first pregnancy a little over a year ago, and I lost the baby at 10 weeks due to a chromosomal abnormality (molar pregnancy). My husband and I are now attempting again, and I’m nervous about the process of waiting. But like Munchkin, I believe God will bless us with a child one day. Im holding on to His Word and the dreams and visions He’s given me.

The reason teens are getting pregnant so easily is because it is that easy for teenager/young adult woman. Those are the most fertile years. So when your mom says "you'll get pregnant" teens y'all better listen. Adrienne's eggs are 35. Not trying to be mean, but it's a fact. A healthy teen/early 20's would get pregnant much faster and without trying.

I’m not trying to tell Adrienne what to do or how to be because I’m not in her shoes. But I know just how much stress can affect a person. I started dealing with anxiety issues at around four years old. I know how much stress can wreck a person’s mind and affect their body. I’ve even been on anxiety pills, trying to keep things under control. When the doctor tells you to remain calm, it’s something that should be taken seriously. I can even see her getting anxious talking about the subject of trying to get pregnant. So, I know just how much her mind and body must be reacting to this daily. If you ever read this Adrienne, I know it’s hard because you want this not only for you but for your husband. But stress and worry takes a toll on your body. Look at what Tamera said about her Mom finally letting go and getting pregnant! I’ve had to find ways like prayer, breathing, and other techniques to help me when I have panic attacks or feel worried. If you stress, getting pregnant will be so much more hard. I’m praying for you and your journey to becoming a Mom. I know you’ll get your baby. God is with you. You don’t have to be afraid. ♥️

Yes! And anxiety and infertility issues can also stem from what we eat. I used to have bad anxiety, panic attacks and random heart palpitations. I also had bad period cramps, a foggy mind, poor memory and severe pms among other things. I cut out gluten and most of it stopped over time! I'm so glad to say I'm soooo much better! Not sure the medical explanation but it worked for me and a few other ppl I know. Now I'm focused on conceiving! Hope this helps someone.

There are so many kids that need love in this world. Why not open yourself to the idea of fostering or adoption and then if you get pregnant just be open to the idea of having more than one child? Usually that’s how it works anyway. Once you get your mind off it your body will feel less stress and more open to getting pregnant. You can get what you want and be a mom sooner!

What’s with the harsh comment? I’m making a fairly valid point here. Of course, it’s easier (and more fun) to make your own. But I mean...if you can’t... the end goal is to be a parent. So you can become a parent of a child who desperately needs a loving home by adopting or fostering. Chances are you’ll fall pregnant once you get your mind off of it. You, ma’am seem like you are the first line of your own comment....😐

My husband and I have been trying for over 1 year now, hoping and praying for a bundle of joy. Its so frustrating seeing person after person get pregnant and your falling behind. Its so comforting to know im not alone but its also sad to know that a lot of women struggle. Prayers for all that are struggling to.get pregnant!

It took me and my partner 5 years. Him having a son from a previous relationship made it hard for me because it made me have thoughts that I was going to be worthless knowing that nothing has happened nor will happen.Oh boy I was so wrong. Eventually I analyzed the situation and simply accepted myself that regardless I am worthy with or without children and that life has endless possibilities for me and the best to come. When I had accepted the idea that perhaps I wasn't able to have children of my own, I unexpectedly got pregnant January of 2017 and gave birth to a 9lb baby August 2017. I really believe that our bodies and God are wise. Things will happen at their timing.

My aunt has been married 15 years and tried throughout her whole marriage to get pregnant. 15 YEARS. Won't God do it? She is now pregnant going on their 16th year of marriage! God is FAITHFUL and He WILL give you your hearts desires as long as you obey and trust in His plans for your life. Keep praying, keep trying. A blessing is coming your way!☺️❤️

I am like tamera's mother, It took 5 years of trying no fertility treatment. Lots of prayer God healed me and then I had a baby girl at 25. Keep praying and it will happen when God say it is the right time. Adrienne. I had 2 more girls as well. Keep the faith. God is good all the time and he knows best.
