I've been thinking about the operator bans and I realized there's a problematic situation with it. Before the operator bans, Liquid was very dependant on Lion (it really helped them win against Penta) and they got punished after the bans were implemented. Penta - even though they complain a lot about Lion - used him against Liquid and were not effective (so, for example, Liquid is either good countering him or Penta is not effective using him. So Penta either needs to grow on how to use him or Liquid grew by knowing how to fight him). Now with the bans, Liquid needs to grow as a team and learn to be effective with other operators. G2 on the other hand are now very dependant on BANNING LION and are NOT beign punished for not knowing how to deal with it. G2 is not being pushed to grow as a team and learn how to fight Lion.
That said, my idea is that a team CANNOT BAN THE SAME OPERATORS ON BOTH MAPS. That would make operator and map bans much more strategic and would force teams to grow and become better. Of course, G2 and Liquid have their merits and I used them as examples, but all of this is valid for future operators to come.
PS: I used the effectiveness of using/fighting operators as a supposition! I am not affirming exactly what G2 or Liquid knows or don't know.

@@sufferorignite8897 I agree that Lion is broken, but my point is about future operators. Ubisoft could come out with another op operator like lion at some point.
@@sufferorignite8897 IKR ubi messed up with Lion. Im sure they will try to avoid creating broken operators but... its Ubisoft! Never question Ubisoft's ability to mess things up lol.
