Close to 300 SQ and 50+ tickets, np1 castoria.
I think a lot of us feel burned because it's the only servant that we've wanted all year. We've been saving since at least New Year's and don't really plan on spending again till next year, so we feel like we deserve her for being patient with our time and SQ. I did get her after 28 multi's, which is just under JP pity system, but it sucks to have spent so many tickets and SQ just to get one servant I planned to get for so long. I feel bad for those who spent even more and still didn't get her.
The worst part is that I got 2 Brads within the first 10 Multis, so those were supposed to be my 2 Castoria's I planned to get, but rate-up is a lie.

To not get the servant after saving so many months is really heart breaking that it makes someone wanna quit the game. It makes your heart sink further when you read comments where people got castoria in less than 3 multis and have sq to spare for future banners
I dont remember when I started saving but it was only after Astolfo saber rerun, I would pull for some banners just so I can get something out of all this saving and not be hugely disappointed if I dont get castoria
@@indexwell6546 doesn’t help when other people are irresponsible and just get lucky. I was at 0 SQ and got her and Da Vinci from the free anniversary SQ and tickets. It’s satisfying but also hard to enjoy since it feels shitty and unearned knowing so many other people saved so hard for her.

I'm very pleased with my haul this Anniversary. Got both of my targets and a handful of 4 star servants that I didn't have yet. I'm done rolling for this year because I REALLY want to get NP5 Barghest in June next year. Morgan would be a nice bonus as well but my main target is a 4 star this time.
The one exception however is GSSR banners, I will always roll on those. Good luck to everyone on their future rolls!

Some of Castoria's banners are even after the Pity System was implemented, so for those that desperately want her all you have to do is save up to the limit and maintain that amount of Quartz. It'll take awhile and you'll miss out on other killer Servants, but if you want her and need her this is the safest way to do so.

After experience the loss of failing to get Castoria, I got the feeling this tragedy will happen again when Muramusa comes out.
I wouldn't try to look at it that way my guy. It all balances out. I wasted 400 sq and didn't get summer Musashi but pulled castoria in 90sq. Gacha RNG is a bitch
I once spent something like 600+ quartz on Eresh, went completely broke, and got precisely 0 gold servants. This round, I got Castoria NP2, Melt, Kingprotea, and three SRs in ~300-400 quartz and 10 tickets.
Gacha fortune is inconsistent. Having ill fortune on one bout need not continue across other banners.

Tldr: The banners in the near future are extremely stacked such that there is almost no wrong choice on which banner you wish to spend all your SQs on (keyword: almost)
well next year is the Koyanskaya year. just like my entire previous year of saving,rolling and planning all revolved around getting castoria here, I'll do the same for Koyan next year, I mean personally I like buster more than art so having Koyan is a big as important as having Castoria

I recommend choosing a card type, sticking with it, and grabbing a few servants you like. After I heard about arts I stuck with it.
My Line up at the moment. - Archer Artoria NP2, Space Ishtar Np2, Nero Bride NP2, Tamamo NP 1, Castoria NP3, NP1 Dioscuri, Sinotai NP2, Hokusai NP1, and Kiara NP1.
(Used my GSSR on Waver NP)
Planning on Grabbing a Copy of Morgan, maybe Konyansakya, and getting Space Ishtar to NP5.
Also planning on getting Trung Sisters (Hopefully NP 5) and using my luck bag on trying to get Archer Artoria to NP 5 and grab a copy of Ryougi Shiki Saber somehow =/.

I’ve spent a total of 350 sq including tickets. I wanna cry ngl. This month has been pain so far, every month before this has been perfect but just not now when I need it. Cool.
Heres the thing even for those who would wait until next year for castoria its just a possibility of getting her especially if in anniv this month drained your sq sure you'll just farm sq and all and all those events and ticket and maintenance but are you sure thas enough also include if you already 100 days or more sure you get 30 every 50 more days but then its 2023 banner its gonna be a tough one even with your measly quarts amount.
Ok let me give y’all the REAL achievable grind guide(assuming u already redeemed all the tickets)
1. if u got ur free quests, do them all, u get 20 sq for every 10 free quests u do(basically)
2. If u are done all the free quests, u will most likely still have some interludes and rank up quests left for low rarity servants u have never touched before. These also gives a lot of sq. Getting bond might be hard, but no worries. Rn all the ember and qp quests are half AP, which means low rarity servants can still get bond levels without being way too expensive. Be sure to use the interludes and rank ups themselves to gain more bond points.
3. If all of them are done, u can still squeeze out a few more sq by reaching higher bond levels with servants as well as using weekly master missions.
4. Last resort would be the 10 tickets we get and maybe ur login bonus hitting before event ends.
As for party, just grab some good aoe servants with preferably kscopes and support Arjuna alter with kscope. Use those np charge mystic codes if u don’t have enough charges.
Low level accounts can also do these using support servants, although I recommend speed running the story to get sq as it is way faster and more fun
I wish everyone luck on their castoria rolls, as I have suffered 580 sq and 16 tickets already.

One thing FGO has shown me over these years. ITS NOT OVER UNTIL THE LAST SECOND! Many times I got the servants I wanted on the last day, even last hour once!
also if you have rare mana prism don't forget to look for the Edmund Dantes tower event and the trial quest they come with tickets incase of emergency

Honestly what Should I do, I was so pissed I didn’t get Castoria on my main I bought the GSSR and got Spishtar. My Alt on the other hand got Both Castoria and Sanzang in first multi. Should I still go for Castoria on my main? or Start saving? since some stages friends isn’t available and the only one i have on main is Waver.
I’m thinking Main saving for Koyanskaya and Alt saving for Morgan. I do want a Himiko but she’s so close and my SQs are drained

I got her first time around 22 pulls on both costing 10 tickets and 1 multipull(30sq). So good luck to fellow players who still haven't give up and aim for Castoria.
My 2nd account where I slowly play through the story got her in 90sq and a Vinci from GSSR. Main account got caster spooked 4 times in 270sq
Galatea is incredible, I love her. Strong NP gain allows her to single target loop in a lot of scenarios and that charge removal on NP has saved my butt so many times.
Like sure, Vlad is pretty much as good and Kriemhild is better, but one is another general pool SSR (therefore, equal chance to pull when neither are on rate up) and the other is over a year later. She's definitely worth, as long as you can handle those pants.
Ztl is the real goat for helping everybody everyday

I got np 2 castoria after not getting her on jp. I did go for skadi out of pure greed and didn’t get her with my ssr but I Did get Abigail who fill a role I didn’t have filled and got mommy lancer raiko, asagami fujino, nito assassin, and Frankenstein saber. Oh also got a second Europa so np2 will be nice. Stay strong everyone don’t let the gacha gods break you!
I was able to get both Castoria and Rider Da Vinci, so I’m pretty happy, but I’m also at 0 SQ now for future events since I literally got Lolinci with my last multi. I think it was worth going broke over though.

Funny thing about SR servant that are in every banner, the first one to hit NP5 for me is Archer Emiya and 2nd is Saber Siegfried. I have been a f2p for 4 yrs playing and only this 2 SR is NP5.... Not totally f2p if I spent on GSSR, I guess but man 4 yrs of playing...
I have another question tho when we will get Morgan banner on na? with first part of Avalon or with second?
The first banner
There was one scenario where I would have quit the game for sure if I didn't get the servant I wanted, that was Iskandar, when I started playing the game I immediately started saving for him and I would've 100% quit if I didn't get him.
Beyond that Skadi and Castoria were some of the servants that really got me on edge while I was summoning them, and rightly so.
Pre-Skadi I was farming with a mix of Nitocris, Iskandar, Waver. It was okay-ish but for event farming there was a lot of limitations there. Then I got Godjuna which added more firepower and helped a bit (yeah I totally skipped Skadi's 1st banner cuz I just didn't look quick -.-)
Then I finally got Skadi and suddenly farming becoming so much easier, totally worth it. Especially cuz I had np3 zerkerlot just idling around.
And then there's Castoria, I actively summoned for Spishtar, and got the luck of a lifetime in a 1 ticket for Musashi, plus there's also Sieg, and others which are slightly less efficient, and she just works with everything, she's great, it feels like there isn't anything in the game I can't farm now, especially with Spishtar. And I'm not even using mystic code, she's just that good.
So yeah try to get her, and don't give up if you don't there'll be more chances, maybe by next chance pity will have been added.
But yeah the life a F2P is hard, all those awesome servants in the video? I'll get none of them, won't even try. But Morgan and Koyanchihuahua are coming home (if pity isn't active on lb6 I'll skip it and wait for next banner) we really gotta know what we want and go for it, so stay strong, save and get her when you can. And keep in mind Castoria isn't just the best support in the game, she's also the best daughter :D
I started playing dec 2021 and been saving sq since then. The only servants i want is from the lb6 and only lb6. Its funny cus im not interested on other servants which make it easier for me to grind sq. The only exception probably kama lol
We're both gonna have a good time in about a year then :D
There's quite a lot of time to save SQ and with pity coming I think lb6 is gonna be memorable.
On the opposite side I cant use my Castoria to arts loop. Never got lucky with S. Ishtar or Summer Musashi.
(I know Chen and Sieg exist. I dont like using them.).
Tho I wonder how good does an np1 Summer Melt do. Usually np loopers need that np2 or beyond.

Well, Summer Kiara is coming in like a week and she is quite good for looping.
Same. Got Castoria and did Year 5 GSSR since I wanted S. Isthar or Summer Musashi for arts farming but got Voyager, Orion, and Yang Guifei instead. What a bummer but I can at least do the Gong setup for some copium farming and surfer mordred for doors.
On another note, I heard summer kiara can also arts farm so I'll try getting her.
NP1 summer melt can probably farm archer event nodes but I'm not sure about neutral classes and berserkers
I used summer melt at np 1 with castoria in jp and she can loop but the damage is low so you might need higher np level or plugsuit tammamo with black grail/MLB heavens feel to put almost enough damage to finish the last node.
Da Vinci rider is also good with castoria. Mine is np1 & can farm any node except assassin. Her refund is also more consistent than my musashi
well.... you can use support Musashi along with dr.P and Waver like I did
Senji Muramasa is the bigger concern for me since he NEVER got a solo banner asides the NY banner in 2023 and I'm looking for a competent Arts looper besides my lvl 100 Hokusai with max fous & 2/3 of her append skills.
780 sq was not enough and you missed to mension the fact that 6th year anniversary banner is probably one or two weeks after castoria rerun next year, and i mean tamamo vitch is here....

Save 1334 sq and 49 tickets for Castoria got her np 2 but I got left 694 sq and 0 tickets. Got spooked in my first six multi by 4stars. Got neza, pent, Parvati, fion(hate that guy), Jean ruler, suzuka gozen.
Believe me I feel the pain of ppl having so many sq and failing to get the servant. Happens to me with summer BB the first time she came to NA.
I got Castoria but at the cost of 600 sqs and 20 tickets. leaving 60sqs left for summonings for Summer and Ooku 😭😭.

Well, at least I have a roadmap for my gacha rolls. I do really want Caren and after I have several months to save for Morgan.
My anni rolls went worse than I would have liked, but I still can’t complain too much. Started with a 330 quartz Castoria with a couple 4*s, so pretty average, followed by Roma on GSSR who was my literal worst case. I have a grailed Eresh so Roma was a huge loss compared to Spishtar, NP2 Musashi, Yang, Sei, or potentially letting me save through Da Vinci. Da Vinci then took me an additional 510 quartz to show up, running my savings completely dry. Now I’ve only got 70 tickets to go for stuff like Illya, Kama, and Yang. Still though, got Castoria, can’t complain too much.

Ive been doing nothing but saving for specific op characters since the game came out its really annoying as someone who doesn't spend on the game anymore you really don't get enough Quartz to be able to pull on things you actually want when you have to save for Merlin, then Skadi, then Castoria.
And I bet JP will release a new broken unit some time soon that everyone is gonna have to save for as well.

I kinda did when didn't get skaddi, but gonna be honest if you have other great units you can live without her, seriously guys check out if you have great art np loopers, if you do lets say have Jeanne or the Sushi 1 sup Castoria+Waver is enough

if you have waver, not having Skadi is not the end of the world, depending on what servants you do have. not having either at this point is destructive to one’s FGO experience. castoria otoh is so critical to the next two years at least, i can’t imagine continuing without her.
i missed so i’m stringly considering calling it quits, especially after spending over 600SQ.

I have a question regarding morgan/koya i.e main targets for next year.. am I right in thinking Morgan comes first? Then Koya.. but not long after Morgan comes back? So I should just wait to pull Morgan after Koya?
yes if NA follows the same schedule (which is not guaranteed, look at ooku rerun). personally I won't go too hard on morgan her first banner, my entire one year schedule would be focused on getting tama vitch, then morgan,oberon,kama avenger will think about them afterwards
Morgan comes first, yes. Her 1st banner will likely be in May (don't quote me on that, never know how they'll reschedule things) while Koyan of light will be at the beginning of July, with Morgan's 2nd banner being a few weeks after that.
