    Don't use bleach to clean it, just use dish soap and hot water. You don't need to breath the bleach, and dish soap is better suited for grease any way. The fish and veggies loooked great.

    !!!! Thank you. I am trying to figure out how to use a steamer that I inherited from a lost loved one. Trying to understand where the water goes is not simple even from looking at the manual online. And no one seems to show that part. Mine doesn't have a water reservoir on the side. But you actually did it step by step. I appreciate you.

    Thank you for the in-depth description. I have wondered whether getting a steamer was worth it. I've had the kind you use on the stove over a boiling pot of water, but never used it. The meal you cooked looked delicious. I was always thinking you would lose the searing of the food, and that would take away from it, but your's looked delicious. I think I'll

    A little white vinegar and a bunch of water...turn it on and let it steam for the whole hour. Cleans everything :) it's the same way you clean kettles.

    • @Uniquelypjw
      @Uniquelypjw  ปีที่แล้ว

      @@michaelb4512 if you do I would poke holes in it and then flip it every 3-5 mins for about 10 to 15 depending on how you like your beef cooked. We like well done so you can do the timing by looking at how cooked you want it prepared

    What is the purpose of having center section of video that you can actually see and then, to each side, blurred video? I see it often- don't know why people do videos this way-? Thanks for the thorough review!

    • @Uniquelypjw
      @Uniquelypjw  ปีที่แล้ว

      This video was posted a while ago. And honestly it’s the only way we could upload it at the moment, for it to be posted for some reason. We posted this video so that people like ourselves, would have a tutorial on how to use, as well as clean the steamer. Outside of blurred factors and technical difficulties you may have encountered on your end; I hope you can understand what we tried to achieve. Enjoy and God Bless

    Is the two tiers containers hard plastic or glass? If hard plastic, is it safe for a longer steaming (more than 30 minutes )?

    might as well just use the stovetop steamer if cleaning is going that contraption is going to be that exhausting. a regular steamer just stick it in the dishwasher... this device, you have to manually clean the bottom layer.

    was that the "sauce" like all the flavor of the food that was left over that you dumped out or was just not edible?

    • @Uniquelypjw
      @Uniquelypjw  3 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      No that is just the excess water from the steaming process. You dump it out.

    The timer Sirius whack. The fact you can’t turn that timer down or off is a deal breaker. So you have to plug it in and have it steam nothing just to get the timer back to zero🤪 poor design. I now have my timer on 60 minutes and no way to get it back to zero
