- Tutorial video #01 of Leathercraft CAD, a free CAD software for leather craft for Windows and macOS. This is the video all the beta testers should watch first since all the basic operations are explained in there.
This video is focusing on the basic grid operations, basic shapes, basic operations of Leathercraft CAD. I will be adding more tutorial videos in the future so please don't forget to subscribe this channel.

早速インストールして試してみました。普段AR-CADで型紙を作っているんですが、良かったのが①グループ化②目打ち機能③曲線を含む線の距離測定④シンプルな構成で分かりやすい で、まだちょっとしか触っていないので出来るのかもしれないですが、今後に期待したい点としては①移動時に図形の角とかをポイント指定しての移動②テキストの縦書き③作った図形の回転でした。とはいえ、すごいですね。現時点でも十分使えそうです。無理しない程度に頑張ってください。
使っていただいてありがとうございます！図形の全ての角や交点は自動的にスナップ機能が働くので、移動先に角や交点を作っておけばそこに簡単にピタッと貼り付けできます。図形の回転は昨日リリースしたver1.2.8から全面解禁となりました！テキストの縦書きは90°回転という意味ではできますが、日本語の小説のような縦書きには残念ながら対応していません。
試行錯誤しながら色々なものを使ってきましたが、レザクラする人が作るCADと言うことで、開発が進むにつれて期待しかないです。
Mac版も私が想像していたより重くなさそうですし、兎にも角にも楽しみにしています！

Tengo una duda que no he podido resolver. teniendo varias capas veo que al moverme en una todas las demás también se mueven. como se puede evitar esto? ya que las demás capas se me desplazan donde no deseo y se salen de pantalla.

Excellent Cad application for those of us who like to work with leather and make our creations. CONGRATULATIONS on this great job.
I have a question that I haven't been able to answer. Having several layers, I see that when I move in one, all the others move as well. How can this be avoided? since the other layers move where I don't want them to and go off the screen.

ありがとうございます！僕もJW_CADから入ったクチです。JWも素晴らしいCADだと思いますが、やはり敷居をもう一段下げないと一般のレザークラフターにはちょっと難しいですよね。僕はこのレザクラCADを素人でもお絵かき感覚で使えるCADに育てたいと思っています！

最初の頃、繋がってるように見えてちゃんと繋がってない事が結構あって、拡大しなくてもそういう問題個所を見つける事ができる方法を試行錯誤して最終的にこの方式になりました。最初はどっちも赤で表示してたのですがジョイントと交点を分けた方が使い勝手が全然いいです(^^

I have started using this and am amazed! Great work. I also am a developer and leathercrafter. I have been wanting to use a CAD for design for a while but normal CAD takes too much time to learn. Thank you for sharing your work!

I agree I'm in an intro to Auto CAD course and there's a lot involved. Very rewarding once you learn though! For majority of people this program should suit a nice and straight forward propose

昔適当に作ったキーケースを機能拡張して作りなおそうと探してたらたどり着きました

Just downloaded your program - I love the potential! However, I'm having problems understanding the tracing feature. I've got a hand drawn image I'd like to trace to add in punch holes but I'm getting a red bounding box and the feature seems to not work for me. What am I doing wrong?

I love the software but when i try do a large circle stitch line the programme crashed its fine with karge squares but crashes on circles any ideas why?

さっそく古いPCに入れて試してみました。
デバイス名 DELL-Inspiron3252
プロセッサ Intel(R) Celeron(R) CPU J3060 @ 1.60GHz 1.60 GHz
実装 RAM 4.00 GB
ＯＳはゴニョゴニョやってwin11が入っていて、普段はこのPCでJW-CADを使っています。
JWよりも多少もたつくところはありましたが、十分実用に耐えました。
ちなみに、当然なのでしょうがM1 MACminiのParallels Desktop(win11)環境ではインストールできませんでした。
レザークラフトCADの機能はとても素晴らしいと思います。Sキーの測定機能から色々できるのも良いですね！
上辺を上に2mm上げる作業については、JWにある「移動」機能（数値で座標を設定）が有ると良いなぁと思いました。
さらなる発展とMAC版のリリースを期待しています！！

Some of those are with English voice. Some are English caption only. I will renew the tutorial videos both for Japanese voice and English voice sometime later but currently English tutorial is limited.

Thank you! Yes, it is possible to group all objects and copy & paste then ungroup. If you are a Windows user、、Ctrl +A to select all, CTRL + G to group selected objects, CTRL + C to copy and CTRL + V to paste. Then CTRL + U to ungroup selected groups. CADソフトを作成なんてすごいです！どのような言語で書けるのでしょうか？？
ありがとうございます。どの開発ソフトでも基本的にはCADは作れると思います。僕の場合、WindowsとMacで他にランタイムライブラリとかJavaとか追加インストールせずに使えるようにしたかったのと、できれば将来的にはiPadやLinuxでも使えるようにしたかったのでEmbarcadero社のDelphiを使っています。日本ではなぜかあまりメジャーでは無いですが相当優秀な開発環境です。Microsoft Visual StudioとかJavaとかApple Xcodeに比べると恐らく3倍から5倍くらい開発期間が短くて済みます。
お疲れ様です、もしこちらのソフト英語に対応する予定はないのでしょうか？😮

プリンタですが、今現在、プリンターへの直接出力には対応していないんです。

I have completed my first project. The SVG Export did not show anything. Let me know the best way to correspond with you.
I have been using InkScape for testing and Lightburn for actual laser engraving works and I did not have any issues so far. You can send me an email with screenshot or SVG file you exported. My email address is written in the release note or the license agreement document that are available from the Help menu.
I was really hoping for a good piece of software to do leather patterns but to be honest reading the captions and trying to follow what your doing is damn near impossible. I was really hoping I could import my svg and edit them for patterns but that doesn't work either, so I don't understand why you put a import svg if it's just to look at your already created svg and you can't trace a pattern that was already created so I'm not sure what the use of a trace button is either. You really lost me on this so it's not something I will use or recommend. Thanks for trying. I see there are no english comments so i am guessing North America was not one of the targeted audiences.
Thank you for finding Leathercraft CAD, and I am sorry that it did not meet your immediate needs. But your feedbacks are valuable. It’s only a few months old software after the first release so it’s still a baby product. It’s growing relatively fast but I’m doing this as a side project alone, so features are implemented priority bases. It’s started off from Japan but I would like to contribute to leather craters world wide so I made it dual Language but as a English non-native it’s not easy to provide tutorials for both Languages in a timely manner. U.S. has the second largest population but compare to Japan it’s still small. My estimation so far is about 1000 users in the U.S. as of today. Those people are the early adapters who are willing to contribute to premature product like this one and I’m aiming to make this software more useful to more people in a few years. Rome wasn’t built in a day. I hope you’ll come back here again in a few years. Let’s see how far I can go :-)
