I'm not trying to draw a comparison here, but as Indians, our mentality is to achieve or acquire something through sheer hard work and honesty. I still remember my graduation days; almost all of my friends had bikes, and I used to dream of owning one with my income. In 2019 I purchased a scooty with my hard-earned money, which gave me the next level of satisfaction. The point is I didn't want to demand a bike/scooter or anything considered a luxury item from my parents. You buy whatever you like with your money and will feel proud of yourself. I'm fortunate that I was born in India and grew up with solid principles and discipline.

Sir I remember when I was a STUDENT in 1964 all I wanted to do was get my MB,BS degree & stop bothering my DAD ,for money for my living expenses & during my Internship of 12 months we had stipend of 150 rupees per month & mess food would cost only Rs65 for a month & cup of tea was only a chavanny for masala tea & twenty paisley for ordinary tea with milk & sugar was free no matter however many spoonfuls !
Our Annual Fee was only R/s 150 per year & room rent for ten months was only 72 Rupees !!Them were the days !!
Lot of stories we class mates compare our lives, & where WE R today post COVD 19 disaster we faced !!
GOD has ALWAYS helped INDIA !! AND we all, 1.4 Bn of us, R thank full to every GOD in this planet !!
