We would still suggest you have a clear idea about what you want to do and proceed with the application process accordingly. It also depends on the kind of portfolio you develop for every branch that you apply for. Your portfolio is a clear indication of your preferred branch.

No, you don't. However, you can do your projects in a niche area. But your B.Des degree won't mention any specialisation. For specialisation you can do a dual degree course (see details here: www.idc.iitb.ac.in/academic/bdes-program) You can choose the specialisation by the end of your 3rd year and it is offered based on your credits (i.e. CGPA)
is there any IIT college under CEED which offer M.Des to b.com graduate ? as mont of them have engineering or architecture or b.des as eligibility.. please help me
As per the information brochure, NO. But i would suggest you to go mail the professors and ask them if they have exceptions for students who scored good in CEED or you can try for NID
The overall placements are good at IDC. You can expect to land a good role in big companies like Samsung, Amazon, etc but the only condition is you have a good portfolio when you apply.

Hi...On 8th March 2021 Ceed results were announced and I cleared it with good rank, when I look at participating CEED colleges, all except IDC - IIT MUMBAI (who conduct CEED Exam) are accepting 3 year Degree Program (10+2+3), but they have very few seats. Rest all IITs and IISC Bangalore have marked eligibility as a minimum 4 Year Degree (BE or B Arc B Des etc). I am in my final year @t (3 year Degree).....he do you have any information on this aspect? will these other institutes likely to change this rule in 2021?

Hi..no it's not compulsory to do architecture or Bdes. You can get into Idc if you do well in CEED.

No they don’t , they just give u a general degree where u study everything. , nid has specialisations for bdes
