Regarding the Moroccan Jews, they were never expelled from Morocco, but rather they were part of the Moroccan people. When the State of Israel was established, they lured them with money and free homes, so they left. They now number a million Moroccan Jews in Israel!!
I was 6 or 7 when the arab spring started. I recall watching the news all the time and pretty much everything that happened. What I know is there was no arab spring in Morocco.
During the arab spring nothing crazy happened in Morocco, but the king was forced to reform the constitution. Many changes were introduced and more people had more rights.
I'm from morocco and people think I look like I'm from Kurdistan Or I'm Perisan & afghan , sometimes Romanians think I'm Romanian and I had 3 occasion where they come to me in public and start talking to me in their language falsely assuming that's I'm romanian, morocco is the farthest away place from Middleast or Balkans and I don't know how could I possibly be linked or perceived to look similar to the people of these regions whom I respect
