Nice list, Bunny. I'm a Ben Askren defender and here's my take: Askren actually was elite but, like you mentioned, he entered the UFC past his physical prime, hip problems, and then two bad outings in a row. Masvidal's fluke (my opinion) win with that admittedly impressive tactic that I don't think he could land like that again and his poor performance against Maia. Earlier Askren would have competed for or even won the Belt in the UFC. I think his wrestling and grappling really were that good. Dude was tough as nails, too. Lawler almost killed him by slamming him on his head and all that ground and pound but my boy came back and won. We'll never know how good he really was.
@BunnyMMA His striking was admittedly terrible. 😂 But I think he was special enough in other ways that yes, he could have been in the mix if he had just come over sooner. His wrestling, grappling, and his toughness. He was a real competitor. We'll never know but it's fun to speculate!
Most of the guys that are in actual top tier promotions(one fc's lower weight classes, rizin, pfl and bellator) and are actual champions with atleast one defence usually do pretty well in the ufc or dont go to the ufc and just stay in the other promotion. The guys that go to the ufc usually arent the best the other promotion has to offer. Michael chandler straight up had 5 losses in bellator. Lombard had 8 fights and literally nobody talks about him. Ben askren was past his prime, had injuries from previous fights and he was dominant very early in ONE's history, before it became as good as it is today. You get the picture
TBF Chandler is way at the tail end of his career. He was 35 when he had his first fight. He could’ve probably been champ if he had joined the UFC in his prime
Brooks was beating Alex Oliveira but that rib injury got him. Before the defeat he was number 11 in the rankings. I didn’t think he would become champ but maybe top 3-5 imo. He was also piecing up Nik Lentz. Brooks was a solid fighter he just made bad decisions during fights
michael chandler is one of the most entertaining fighters out now but i agree his fight iq and him wanting to put one on for the fans really came back to bite him in the ass
Pride is a terrible example. Shogun, Rampage, Big Nog, Anderson Silva, Hendo Overeem Mark Hunt etc.Cro Cop and Wanderlei were out of their primes by the time they went to the UFC. Many Pride fighters found great success in the UFC. Pride paid fighters almost too much money why would fighters who are better not go to the bigger promotion that made more money? Pride and UFC were 50/50 when it came to having elite fighters. Pride took UFCs second middle weight champion while he was champion and he got wrecked in pride. Carlos Newton got beat up in pride. Silva was average in pride and dominated UFC.
Still a huge dub for chandler, he was known by hardcores in bellator but now every fan knows his name
I agree. Despite being 2-4 in the ufc he’s consistently one of the most exciting fighters and goes for the kill everytime. So respect

Thanks for watching man! And yes Ben askren was good. But you think he could have made it in 2019 ufc with how bad his striking was?
@BunnyMMA His striking was admittedly terrible. 😂 But I think he was special enough in other ways that yes, he could have been in the mix if he had just come over sooner. His wrestling, grappling, and his toughness. He was a real competitor. We'll never know but it's fun to speculate!
I second the opinion, if askren got his paws on masvidal he was going to maul him, we witnessed it with coby and usman
@@MorganLewis-z9vI think Askren would have mauled Masvidal 19/20 times but Masvidal ambushed him with that knee and it was all over.
It's crazy seeing the skill difference between each organization.. double champs and champs in other orgs being barely top 15 in UFC is crazy
I know. Just goes to show you how much better the comp is in the ufc
UFC are the best fighters in the world
@ indeed

True he had potential. But he always kinda had bad fight iq. Even in his bellator career. Either way one of the most exciting fighters to ever do jt
Jesus Christ loves you so much and died for your sins✝️!
@@marvolovesgod385amen I despise evil Muslims
Gaethje came from the pfl and did very well😮 he became interim champ
That’s true! Gaethje a savage!
Amazing content as always.
Appreciate it man!

Facts. He is one of the most exciting for sure
Michael Chandler is the Mickey Ward of the UFC
Chandler has everything it takes to become champ but his fight IQ
New camera, keep up the growth king 🙌
Thanks champ! We’re going to the top!
Bro forgot Michael Chandler got the nastiest ko on old many tony
No bro I remember. But he was getting pieced up by a washed Tony in round one let’s not forget
@@BunnyMMAno lets forget
Hahaha alright bro forget
My goat
Let’s go! You a real one
Tbh Chandler was kinda past his prime when he came to the ufc. If he came earlier before khabib won the belt he would have def became champ
I could see it tbh. Prime chandler was a beast. But man that 2nd Charles fight made me sour. Bro was cheating left and right
I guess its too early to tell with MVP but i think he is struggling a bit
Yeah he came in late at like 37 years old so it’s tough, he’s looked solid
neil magney. if you are sleeping on him, you don't really know mma.
Lmao Neil magny puts me to sleep. The Haitian sensation needs to retire
@@BunnyMMA he is 37 and been in the ufc since 2013. lots of fighters came and went between 2013 to now. you go try.
It's all Bellotor and Pride fighters!!..Octagon jitters are real !

Pls include footage.
Tough champ. I have a full time job on top of doing TH-cam full time. Don’t have time for extensive editing when I’m posting content everyday
Michael Chandler struggle with using his Fight IQ, should be the proper title
lol that’s fair. Low iq mike always comes out in every fight. Except the Dan hooker fight
W bro
Appreciate it bro
Micheal Chandler is the pound for pound #1 goat, if 2 guys walk into a room chandler is walking out everytime
You put Michael chandler ina room with mcgregor. Mcgregor pulls out everytime
@BunnyMMA yeah mate McGregor definitely pulls out the women as he's sniffing the ❄️
💀💀
