In this video I would like to share our Montessori inspired activities that I have prepared for my 7 years old daughter in our shelves.
We will be doing mostly reading and hands on activities as well as lots of outdoor activities during the summer.

I've been struggling to come up with ideas for my 7 yr old, and now I'm full of them! It's been difficult to find videos on Montessori inspired activities after kindergarten.
I agree. Lost for younger kids. And this gives lots of affordable ideas
Love, love, love the ideas and games that you have. As well as the learning activities. With the clock and geographical things. My daughter would love that

Amazing video....Really its great and the fantastic part of this video is many ideas are match with my own ideas like antonyms , nouns , adjective , verb, time telling idea but the difference is that mine are made by hand they are not printed and plastic coated i use the calendar papers and simply write with markers anyway our goal is just ti educate our kids Any way i become yr fan really u r doing a great job and i will pick yr some ideas for my 6 years old son!!😊😊

We do the same on this easter eggs. We do it with number and number name recognition. I put the number in one side and its name on the other side but different color, to add some challenge to my niece. And for the writings i put tape on it, so that it wont erase easily and she can hold the eggs properly.
I love this video!! Great ideas for telling time - I'll have to use those... and I like the animal book she sleeps with, very interactive... and the vowel chart is so clever! Thanks so much for making this video, you always have the best ideas!

The animal book was a thrift store find, can you believe it? Can't tell you how mant times she has gone through this book. Thank you, I try to upcycle our manipulatives as much as possible, and that's when the most creative ideas come up, just like what happened with the vowel chart! lol

Yeah sometimes I find printing in color paper more fun, it is a little detail that counts hehe 😊

Hola Isela!! It can get overwhelming sometimes, but once you find your style, your rythm, and follow your child...it goes smooth (most of the times lol). I am very glad these videos help you feel more clam about teaching.

haha well, most of us think of sand/salt tracing for younger kids when they begin to write, but it can be use for much more than that. Ugh I am still bumped the eggs activities didn't work out as I hoped. But well, we can try it with other objects ;-)

Comenzé HS a mi niño y buscando info encontré este método Montessori y me llamó la atención, pero tengo algunas dudas como usarlo en casa. Dices que no usas libros de texto, y entiendo segun lo que he leído que el niño aprende solo, entonces como aprenden a sumar si no le explican, etc..

Hola Diana! Buena pregunta 😊 Si te fijas en unos cuantos de mis otros videos seguro verás que es muy sencillo. Inclusive los niños, la mayoria de las veces, aprenden mejor sin libros o con pocos libros! Sumar, restar, multiplicar...etc. puedes usar la vida misma del día a día. Con decirte que yo a mi niña le enseñé las fracciones mientras le cortaba un sándwich en 4 partes 😃
La hora y el dinero lo aprendió usandolo para comprar o jugando a la tienda, y viendo el reloj...etc.
