    First of all, I want some of that spaghetti (fat girl at heart here!) 🤤😅
    14:35 Karter’s face at you when you started yelling 🤣🤣🤣
    I’ve been natural for 8 years and it’s been one of the best decisions I’ve ever made. Having natural hair means hair that hasn’t been altered chemically. No perms, hair dye, for the most part no heat, but if you do, use heat protectant and other products that help shield most of the heat that can cause heat damage. Not sure if you straighten your own hair now or not but consider going to a natural hair specialist if you really wanna go the natural route being that there’ll be less heat damage done to your hair. As for your heat damage that you’ve already obtained, you could either go ahead and cut those ends OR go ahead and not use heat on your hair (yourself at least, maybe with a natural hair stylist) for awhile and let your natural hair flourish and once that new growth comes in, go ahead and chop that dead weight off.
    And that’s just for the straightening bit for natural hair but if you REALLY wanna go natural, there shan’t be any straightening of the hair lol (unless maybe once a year, professionally done) but then comes the twist outs, the puffs, braid outs, flat twist, protective styles...there are so many different things you can do with your natural hair you honestly just have to do a lot of researching, TH-cam video tutorials is what helped me A LOT, practicing, buying of the hair products to see which ones work for YOUR hair texture, what your hair texture is..OMG lol but the journey is so worth it.
    Hope this helps!
    ❤️

    I agree with mixing the sauces. I does taste better. I press a couple noodles on the inside of the pot to see if I cuts easy. I LOVE THAT STRAINER !!!! Girl it’s okay, my pots look the same way (family of 8 here ). We cook spaghetti the same way. Love your channel. That was too cute when one of the kids was talking and acting like you were talking. The whole car scene was funny 😂😂😂 I’m that same kind of fat girl I WANT FOOD, not sweets. Ya brother 😂 sorry such a long comment. I type like I’m talking to the person. Again i know This is an old video, but that's trainer is designed to Sit in the pot that you cook the spaghetti in and when the spaghetti is done. You lift out the strainer, that's it. You don't have to pour it out in the sink.

    In my opinion your technically “natural” since you never had a relaxer or any chemicals in your hair...but if you want to rock your curls you can transition slowly with protective styles by cutting your ends slowly or do the big chop...YET there’s some lucky people that are able to nurse their curls back to life without cutting which takes a lot of protein, deep conditioning and time...oh mixing egg or mayo with conditioning is a good protein treatment...good luck on your journey Jazz 😊

    My family came from Italy & are true Italians. We were always told to NEVER put any type of oil in the pasta water. Yes, it doesnt allow pasta to stick together BUT it also causes the sauce not to stick to it. The sauce slides off the pasta. But as you say in the entire video.....everyone is different, they have different theories, do things differently etc. You do what works for you. Looks yummy! I hope you got some sleep afterwards. 😉🖤

    You can transition your hair, that's how I grew my hair out from being heat damaged. After washing your hair you can add leave in & a moisturizer then cornrow & add perm rods at the ends to blend your damaged & new growth. You can also do roller sets & gradually clip the ends until you get to a length you're comfortable with.

  • @uhmhi4745
    @uhmhi4745 5 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    I’ve been natural for 4 years and being natural doesn’t mean applying no heat, it just means limiting the amount of heat, keeping it moisturized and healthy in its curly/kinky state. I also recommend using Shea moisture coconut Hibiscus line ! And also braid or lay your hair in a Bantu knot at night to keep it healthy.

    Your girls are natural too right? Use the products you use on them. Try bantu Knots to have it out curly styled and then you can wear a headband or part it. You do want to stay away from heat for a bit to keep the curls healthy and growing. Make your journey work for you. Do what you can and what you feel comfortable with! Keep us updated!!

  • @aliyahm7762
    @aliyahm7762 5 ปีที่แล้ว +6

    Because your hair is heat damaged you honestly have two options, you can get the heat damaged part of your hair cut off or you can transition your hair which is basically adding no more eat what so ever and you will use all natural hair products leave ins curling creams protein treatment and deep conditioners to help strengthen your natural hair back up, it is a process and it can take months for your heat damage to “recover”

    The best way to make gumbo yourself is to use the zatarins gumbo mix all you have to do is add the meats traditionally it’s chicken sausage shrimp n crab legs. It’s literally the closest I’ve found to having gumbo the way it tastes in New Orleans.

    That’s a good idea about mixing different sauces , I’m gonna try that the next time I make any type of pasta ❤️... and yes sis u have heat damage .. my hair is natural I don’t do any flat ironing what so ever .. i blow dry mayb 2 or 3 times a year just to clip my ends , with my hair type it’s easier to clip my ends when it’s blown out .. either I just put my hair in a ponytail , a protective style like box braids or twists or if I’m really tired of my hair I’ll do a wig.
