Hello, nice video. I have one problem, in my case the mechanism don't do a complete revolution, in my case the mechanism barely turns about 20º. I put in BCs that the mechanism do a complete revolution but it didnt occur. Then in the Monitor settings appear a lot of warnings about Zero Pivot/Overconstains and I dont know if this warnings produce the problems that I described. I need a solution. Thanks

    Hello dear Vineeth
Can you simulate that mechanism with Discrete rigid or Rigid Body (for Link-1 and Link-2 parts) ?

Hello, I’m doing something similar but with only 2 bars and one connection that holds the 2 bars together. It looks like this /\ with the hinge connection at the top. I’m trying to do displacement control in the negative vertical direction using a reference point inside the hinge to make it go from /\ to _ _ but no luck. It only comes down a little bit. Any advice? I’ve tried so many things already

Thanks, this video helped me for my Master's Project work. I have one doubt: How to make one of the rigid bar as compliant segment & do the analysis?,,waiting fr ur reply!

Glad that this video helped you. By compliant mechanism you mean that the link should be deformable or flexible right. Then you will need to remove the rigidity of the link. May be by decreasing the stiffness by changing stiffness modulus. Or change the property of model to non rigid. 🤔What do you say 💬

can abaqus measure the energy it takes to displace the mechanism? i.e. if this were being driven by a motor, how much energy would it take to rotate the mechanism?

Thanks. Can you upload cae & jnl files from this tutorial?

In my simulation the rotation not increase more than 0.125 rad!

@@vineeth9295 Thanks a lot. I solved it. I set the nlgeom to "on" in static general step and solved it.

I think you are setting a lot of unnecessary boundary conditions!
