I play rec hockey with a guy around my age. Let's call him Phil.
He complains for two years that he doesn't improve. We train at the same rink. He chats to some women, half-assedly does some drills and just wants to shoot pucks.
He doesn't want to out in the boring work: edges, stick-handling drills, repeating deke movement patterns hundreds of times.
There is no magic formula to success in hockey.

Gerhard Symons hi man.Well,even in amateur hockey some aspects like stick handling might be completely depends on a person, by his genetics nature,originally he fits into it or not.So might be even a lot of reps wont be a solution,but at the same time he can be a good assistant at the game...Or,just a good fellow in the dressing room,which is priceles)
