    @dr usama syed had released a video 2021 saying he was quitting dermatology for blockchain. There he had mentioned he didnt completely quit but reduced the work time to one day per week. Now i want to know is he is still working as an attending fulltime or one day per week in new york ???

    Would like a similar video on a doctor from India/Pakistan/Bangladesh matching into such competitive programs. Appreciate this video but Dr Usama has been practising in the UK, and there is a certain gap between doctors who are in South Asia and doctors from 1st world countries applying to the USA.

    is it better to apply for and do sugery-prelims for 1-2 years or is it better to apply for and do 1-2 years of unpaid/paid postdoctoral research fellowships and then apply to for competitive specialities such as plastic surgery, orthopedic surgery, neurosurgery?

    he accepted the interview at Cleveland but didnt go? that's very disrespectful and rude. he could have canceled it and a more deserving applicant could have gotten the spot.

    No more step 1 score any more . That means one of the only few opportunities to shine as an IMG goes away

      Lots of unhelpful replies here. Don’t let them put you down if that’s your goal and there’s nothing wrong with asking about compensation. The average is around 500,000 with great work life balance. Check out MGMA salary data for accurate values.
