Just got off the sunshine today, the 15th! Had an awesome time. We had faster to the fun also. Very quick process from the time we parked till we stepped on the ship. Have fun!

I will be cruising the sunshine in August. I love Bojangles, but, my tradition is too fast on the day of embarkation so I can thoroughly enjoy that first bite of my guys burger.

I have in past cruises actually moved the bed configuration around if I need more room. Our steward would just make the bed each day as if nothing was amiss. (I always moved it back to its original spot before leaving the cabin at the end of journey)
I wonder if you could move the adults bed with the head of the bed being against the wall you face when you come in and then turn kiddos bed longways against the back wall. Not sure if it would fit but might be worth a try

Been watching you guys for a little minute now and my Fiance and I just made our cruise channel...Praise N' Cruise! We'll be sailing on the Carnival Sunshine in a few months and you guys were definitely a part of the inspiration for us creating our channel so I thank you for that! Just got off the Mardi Gras earlier this Month and the Celebration last May. Its going to be interesting to see the differences between the larger ships and the Sunshine. Thanks for the tour
@@lisaadams1249 I don’t really feel it’s a fair comparison to be honest. Oldest ship to newest ship. The food on newer ships is better, especially the specialty options. I don’t like the newer ship layouts personally. I think they are too crowded. Horizon is our favorite with Celebration/Sunshine a second and third.
@@luvysfatlife honestly, I was underwhelmed with some food and drinks on the newer ships. They had more options, but I wasn't blown away. I'm looking forward to Cruising the Sunshine. I definitely agree with you on the crowds, thanks

Was this your first interior cabin? That's pretty standard size. I agree with wishing for cold cheesecake, too. Thanks again for sharing. It really helps new Cruisers.
@@lynnwingo hello…..no….we’ve had other interior rooms before. This just felt “smaller” for some reason. Maybe it was how they had the beds? Not sure they could do anything different. We’ve had them with a pull down too. The pull down was much better. Thank you for watching. We don’t normally get an inside cabin. This was a late booking so we pretty much had to take an inside and it was pretty expensive too.
Can't wait to sail on the Sunshine again next May. We loved it so much we're going back!

Wonderful video. Glad you all had another cruise. Hopefully, I get a chance to go on a cruise if I stopped working so much to make ends meet. Maybe February 2026. The Sunshine would be in my top 3 ships I would like to sail on even if I have to cruise solo. I would love to see Half Moon Cay and the new Celebration Key resort coming next year. Also, the ship's relocation to Norfolk, VA next year will be interesting.

Ty. You can get at either but steakhouse bar uses fresh watermelon. Alchemist will tell you they make the best. Ty. Again.

Ok - we just got the DJI Osmo pocket 3 to use on our next cruise and now this makes me even more excited!!! Any tips? Carnival Destiny (before it was Sunshine) was the cruise that got us started in 1999!! We did like the refresh. We've yet to have funfetti cheesecake. We do the same and ask for ice every day. written permission to vlog?? cray cray LOL - i remember you saying that in your live. Those martini's look yummy. Great vlog!
Thanks for watching. The zoom isn’t great, but d writhing wise is awesome on Osmo Pocket 3. The selfie mode is great for interviews and talking to camera. Watch as many videos as possible. I got a couple accessories that make a huge difference.
I'm thinking about buying the Pocket 3. Guess I need to watch videos to figure out how to use it first. Hope yours works great for you.

@@LisaWeglarz-t2m it’s not quiet like the old days. You go to the stations and watch them put the life preserver on and scan your badge.
What type of music do they play? I haven’t sailed Carnival… yet. Might try to sail in October this year.
Believe it or not depends on ship and port. Most play a mixture of all types. Country, hip hop. Top 40, and pop.
Thinking about sunshine. Charleston is less than 5 hour drive from home. I have sailed Royal Caribbean 8 times and virgin voyages 1 time. Always wanted to try Carnival for something different but trying to avoid airlines when I can.
@@catherinekayne1071 you have to remember the Sunshine is Carnival's oldest ship. It will NOT have all the bells and whistles of the Royal and Virgin ships. We enjoy here and like the layout of the ship. It to me has one of the better Serenity areas on the ships we've been on other than the newer Carnival ships. Hope you enjoy! We are the opposite and want to try a Royal ship....but the ones we have been looking at are SO expensive.
You have any success with the dragon link? I need a machine that wont bleed me dry so fast, I cant win anymore it seems or even play for a while.
