Hi buddy. You can do UV resin on the outer shell, I just do glue since I find the fly doesn’t get as heavy with glue. And I want the presentation to be as “calm” as possible when hitting the water. For attaching the foam, UV resin would be hard, as you can’t get the lights inside the body- if that makes sense.
I use Hairline Furry Foam - if you google that it’ll come right up. Got my stuff from these guys, awesome guys and they have so much nice stuff- I’m not affiliated with them in anyway, just like getting my stuff from them. www.chifly.com
