My mom worked at mattel back then and when she heard that the batmobile was being recalled (due to some one falling on it and getting stabbed by the wings on the back) she immediately drove out and grabbed one for me one before it got pulled from the shelf. there hasnt been a large scale batmobile with pointy wings since then, that car left its mark on every batmobile to come no pun intended.
@@dHuntersReviews just noticed the one in your collection has the wings flattened a bit compared to the offical art, perhaps that one came after the recall (i still have my pointy one in all its glory lol). sweet collection btw this is a extremely underrated toyline
Dude I’ve been looking for this series of Mattel Batman for years the battle armor Batman was my favorite as a kid he use too fit on a lot of motorcycle toys I had you have no idea how much your videos bring back my childhood I want too start this series soon

I still have my zip line Batman, batsignal batman, and the robin figure. These sculpts were so good and I really wish they were still in use. Edit: my batsignal batman has a much bigger cape
@@dHuntersReviews I always thought it was but the cape is bigger even though the figure is the same. I got both so long ago, all I have left of the batmans are the figures themselves.
@@dHuntersReviews did some googling and it is a Batman that came in a twopack from TRU with a blue and black robin. I don't even remember that robin (always ignored recolored hero figures for the most part so may have lost it). It's the same body as batsignal batman but the cape is massive.

They made Catwoman in the DCSH and DCUC lines which were an extension of this.
