what was the math test like?
@@gwrydd For my job there wasn’t a maths test as part of the application. However there is a maths and English test for the apprenticeship if you do not already have a GCSC or equivalent in those subjects

How to get a job at northern: show up on time to interview
On a serious note id actually like to work for Northern however my only expirience is a years worth at asda 😅
Any experience is valuable as long as you've been in the types of situations they're looking for. I have 1 years experience at Nando's with a few months working for a light rail company and that got me to the interview stage.

1) Do you offer a train conductor apprenticeship?
2) If so, where are they based?
3) Are you offered a job after an apprenticeship generally at Northern
4) Do you offer the availability for an apprentice / employee to relocate if needed.

3) It is likely you are able to apply for positions in the company after an apprenticeship
I want to be a train driver, but yeah I don't hire from the Wigan depot.
