James sits down with Looking/Mean Girls/Party Monster/Bully legend Danny Franzese to talk about his latest role: HELPING THE GAYS BE MORE BODY POSITIVE. They talk about his journey to self-acceptance, how he was a shy child, ashamed of his weight, and how being shirtless in his first movie, Bully, helped him overcome that. They also talk about Looking, and how having his bear character be fully sexualized helped legitimize the bear community. Finally they touch upon HIV awareness, PrEP, and his future plans. He's so right about the LGBT community portraying certain body types as attractive or appealing on screen. All you see in gay movies are guys with oiled up muscular bodies and its troubling because they turn that into the norm.
This is so important!! So so important. I feel like bears and bigger men in the LGBT community get the short end of the stick. I feel really bad that Daniel had to feel this way about himself. He is very attractive and his personality makes him even more attractive.

That Mean Girls thing is so true. I was a senior when it came out and after it did, people noticed me more in school because I was gay and fat, still am, but it was crazy. I embraced it and even had a shirt printed that said "She doesn't even go here" and went to school with it, It helped me out and it was fun. People sort of stopped seeing me as the fat gay guy and saw me as the fat gay FUNNY guy. :p

Party Monster 2?! James don't fuck with us now. I loved this though, don't know editing would be an issue, James likes to talk and its seem that so did Danny so naturally editing would be needed, only a small number of people would sit through an hour long interview
