Thank you so much! The react expo dev environment with newer versions of node is so simple to init I was convinced I was doing it wrong. Spent about two hours running random tests and brew inits until I found your video. Can’t wait for the new tutorials!

Hi, would you recommend using Expo or React Native CLI in 2023?
I built a simple React Native app a couple year ago and back then Expo seemed really bad

hey, I am using expo for my project but I am not able to create a apk, My project works fine in development when I scan the QR and run it, but when I build the apk.. the apk always crashes. Please help

Sorry for the slow response did you get this working by chance? you could try pulling the main branch again, and see if it works. Also try updating your android simulator to latest. And finally. things have changed a bit in expo, make sure you press 'S' when you start the dev menu, then press 'a'
