Nice review. Say, what particular out board compressor do you use? I'm talking budget like the M350 which I own and love. Also, have ever known anyone to use a channel strip in live mixing to boost up the preamp signal for say a vocal mic, as well as, having compressor, eq, de-essing, effects to play with, too. I'm just thinking of buying one to run my m350 in serial thru the strip. ...Or is a good compressor the way to go. Btw, I'm working with a small Allen & Heath mixer. Thanks for reading this!
how do the halls on this compare to the lexicon halls? thinking of adding an m350 to my setup. i don't love the hall on the lex mx400. i want a dependable, beautiful hall to spdif to my daw.
Hi there! Thanks for review (it's awesome!). However I want to ask you about your Mackie onyx 1640i mixer. I've read that there is a problem with -18db output gain (analog -> digital) loss when recording through FireWire to DAW and loss of quality when raising gain in DAW. However at your demo the sound is clear and "loud". So I just want to ask what are your experiences with output level? Thank you and keep it real :)
+Štefan Bitte Hi Stefan, I haven't had any issues with the output level. As long as you gain stage your levels properly, you shouldn't have any issues when recording in 24 bits. I bounce the mix, and before I do a quick mastering on it, I normalize it to -4 db and it works out fine
+Recording Studio Tips And Reviews Hopefully same thing will apply to 820i version, since I've heard some bad rumors :( Anyway, thank you for your quick response :)
+Emi Rizzi sorry, I was answering a wrong question. I don't use the SPDIF, but yes, you can use it receive and output a digital signal through SPDIF. If your sound card has that connection, you can use it that way no problem
I use Eleven rack as my main audio interface with logic, and all of my piano sounds come from logic plugins. Can I still used this as a effects processor on my piano sounds? If so how would I hook it up? Thanks.
sure you can just use the DigitalOut/Digital in (red/black RCA connection) both Eleven rack and M350 has it. Connect DOut(Eleven rack)DIn on m350 and vice versa, and setup a send/return BUS in logic. point it to SPDIF connections. If u want to use the M350 as an insert in Logic go: on insert slot>Logic>Utility>I/O and pick SPDIF IN/OUT for the send/return channels.
There is also a software to manage the M350 using midi ports.
You can use both effects just press button on the back to use both at the same time
So which one sounds best out of the LEXICON TC or RV ? Which reverb is the winner ?

Would you recommend this M350 over reverb stomp box for electric guitar? Nice review sir!
what delay effect and reverb effect would you recommend for live dj
Could you do a review of TC ELECTRONIC M-ONE XL or D-TWO? I'll be very thankful.
1:16. Oh girl. You looking fine .🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Hi, asked this inPT1 also , can u use midi timecode from the daw for delay BPM timing?
just read the manual for the 300 it does not recieve timecode, I am not sure about the 350
yep just found where the 350 accepts midi clock 🙂

Is it very different from its little sibling, the M300?

How well does the compression work on vocals?
+Wilmarck Jean-Philippe it pretty good. I've just tested it but never used it in a mix (I have outboard compressors)
What did whitney houston or celine dione use?
Can I loop this unit through a mixing board? Ie send/return?
I'm totally new to SPDIF so, can it receive a mono/stereo input from SPDIF IN and then output it from the SPDIF OUT in stereo too? :) Thanks

I swear the hall of fame reverb pedal sounds better than this I’ve got both
No it doesn't. HOF sounds bit muddy, M350 is prestine quality
