Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakatuh,
Welcome to the first episode of a journey unlike any other-a journey into the 99 Names of Allah SWT, the Asma ul Husna.
Once, the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ shared a powerful truth with us:
“Indeed, Allah has 99 names; whoever memorizes them, lives by them, and acts upon them will enter Jannah.”
    (Sahih al-Bukhari, Sahih Muslim)
You may have come across *beautiful nasheeds* celebrating these names on TH-cam, but as I searched deeper, I realized something was missing. There weren’t enough videos *explaining the profound meanings* behind these names, connecting them to the *stories* that bring them to life. That’s where this series comes in.
In this series, we’ll explore each name of Allah SWT, briefly yet deeply, with stories that help us understand and relate to these names in our everyday lives.
    ---
You see, most of our struggles in life come from a misconception about Allah SWT. We might fear Him too much, hope too little, or misunderstand His wisdom and mercy. This isn’t new. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ described three types of relationships people have with Allah:
    1. *Fear:* Like the relationship of a slave, obeying out of the dread of punishment.
    2. *Trade:* Like a merchant, worshipping Allah in exchange for His blessings or paradise.
    3. *Love:* The highest level-loving Allah for who He is, not just what He gives.
But here’s the thing: How can we truly love Allah if we don’t know Him?
    ---
One of our ultimate purposes in life is to get to **know Allah SWT**. It is through knowledge that we are awed by Him, humbled by His mercy, and drawn into His love. And that love? It’s the highest reward anyone can attain.
    The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
*"When Allah loves a servant, He calls out to Jibreel, saying, 'Indeed, Allah loves so-and-so, so love him.' Then Jibreel loves him, and he announces to the inhabitants of the heavens, 'Indeed, Allah loves so-and-so, so love him.' So the inhabitants of the heavens love him, and acceptance is placed for him on the earth."*
(*Sahih al-Bukhari, Hadith 3209; Sahih Muslim, Hadith 2637*)
This beautiful hadith highlights the immense honor and blessings bestowed upon a person whom Allah loves. It shows that Allah’s love brings the love of the angels and acceptance from people on earth.
    ---
But remember, love doesn’t happen by chance or coincidence. There’s no such thing as randomness in the love of Allah SWT. Guess why you’re here right now, watching this video? **Who do you think invited you on this journey**?
    “Nothing happens without His permission.”
If you feel even the slightest pull to get to know Allah SWT, understand this-it only happens because He wanted it to happen.
    ---
So let’s begin this journey together. Through each name, we’ll uncover a new way to connect with Allah, a new reason to love Him, and a new perspective to help us through life’s challenges.
Let’s make this a journey of **awe, and love**-leading to the greatest blessing of all: Allah’s love in return.
Jazakum Allahu Khairan for joining me today. Don’t forget to subscribe, like, and share this with anyone who might benefit. Let’s grow together, one name at a time.
Wassalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah wa Barakatuh.
