If you want to Low Bass then subwoofer must be place on bookshelf or any other thing which is up to the floor but if you would like to Lower and upper Bass then must place it on the floor especially in the corner and then enjoy it. And I assure you will never disappoint.

Low ke saath Upper Bass bhi adhik feel hogi phir. Bass enhance ho jaati hai especially floor mein corner mein rakhne perm mere paas Logitech ke Z5500 5.1 Z5300 5.1 Z2300 2.1 Altec Lansing ka MX5021 2.1 hai... All are THX certified... And all are perfect but Altec is much better especially for Low Bass but only 50 to 75 or Max 80% volume after 80% volume Altec will be disappointed...
