@@christhis9597 3 champions that you enjoy that you can put 100+ games on without deviating. OR, pick up easy champions that are strong in the meta, and rotate between easy champions across multiple lanes. The best thing to do, for you, if you like to play multiple lanes and don’t feel like deviating from that, is to play champions that can flex multiple lanes/roles. Nocturne is great top/mid/jg. Etc. At the plat level, your macro level is such that you can rotate between 5-8 champions, just try not to exceed that amount. If you still struggle, study the best players of that champ, in that role and see what they do and emulate them. It’s hard to master something when you’re a Jack of all trades, but if you can successfully emulate someone better at the champ than you, you’ll climb higher and be able to flex into opponents to edge them out in a counter while mastering strong comfort picks.

Crazy how spot the gold elo take was. I get leads in lane and all over the map very consistently and then just throwing it. Throwing has costed me my plat promos probably a dozen times.

From my experience when I started in season 7 I had the hardest time winning my promos from bronze to silver. Just mained Galio, diana, taliyah and pushed through I think like 9 times I failed till I reached silver 5 and that was purely based of mechanics. From silver to gold that was a breeze to be honest. Roamed with Taliyah and galio and won the game with the difference of wave shoves and roams. Gold to Plat has been the hardest thing, I've been to plat promos at least 5 - 6 times at this point. However, I only ever put in 100 - 200 games a year so, been stuck in gold for 3 seasons now.
Thats been my issue so far as well. Silver is an easy climb.. takes like 30 games max. But gold.. Everytime I get up, the throws and lane losses stack up higher and higher. Ive swapped roles for next season will be interesting to see where I climb to now. But plat required like 400 games.. and thats a lot of time XD
I’m a student and i’ve just started playing league of legends just in may 2021, and i’ve got stuck on gold on both flex and solo/duo. Then i’ve started to watch a good gamer/streamer on YT just around this November which helped me climb to plat IV for solo/duo. Maybe having someone coach your gameplay could help you climb elo 😁 find someone who could help you train your skill and mentality on the game 😉 good luck next season.
Im iron 3 and I've played around 100 games this split but am totally hardstuck. Its annoying when people say youre only in iron because of computer/wifi since I have a pretty good computer and my wifi is decent. I'm just bad and don't know what I'm doing wrong. I guess my cs could be better and there are visible areas for improvement but it feels like it doesn't matter because every game is a coinflip.
I've been dangling between Bronze 2 and Bronze 1 this entire Season...Got placed in Iron at the beginning, slowly, veeeeeery slowly climbed out made my way through the lower bronze ranks, but now...I get 3-4 Games in a row, where I don't have to worry that much, because, well my teammates and I are all familiar with the basics at least. But then I get hit with the trolls, feeders and Anime-Protag-Syndromes just as often. And the LP-System is so harsh right now...It happened multiple times already that I lost more LP in my current match than I earned the one before. ;___________;
Yah same. I find there is a big difference from low bronze to high bronze. Low bronze the other guy in lane is usually terrible and you can easily beat them and carry the game. High bronze is a bit harder to carry for a top main like myself because as a top player you usually don’t have as many chances to get super fed, and if one of jungle or mid int early (like what usually happens) the game is a loss. So what I did was just take my top champs (Garen, Fiora, Nasus) to the mid lane so even if I didn’t win lane, I’d prevent the other mid laner from getting fed and I had good scaling champs into the mid to late game. This took me from a 55% win rate (approx 50 games) in top lane, to a 75% win rate (approx 30 games) in mid lane. The problem is I find mid lane much more boring in laning phase because while my top champs are good at winning, they don’t have much kill potential in mid lane. Also, because I’m usually placed from Iron 1-3, and got off to a really unfortunate start losing all but 1 of my placements this year, I got to Bronze 2 in March, got bored, and quit ranked for the rest of the year lol. I assume if I tried, I’d probably end up around mid silver, but putting tons of effort into ranked isn’t that fun. Also one great thing about bronze is rarely any of us get tilted and actually try to strategize with each other on how to win, because we realize we all suck and are only playing this game to have a good time.
That were actually some nice tips, nothing hard to understand and short, im g4 s11 and trying to focus on improving to d4 or p at least, and what i learned before this video i use now on fiora, and i make enemy top laners useless, my last game on shen ended up with him being 0/6 6.4k gold while enemy yuumi being 1 lvl higher and having gold advantage, macro is the key to do that and i say it in low gold, i hope i will reach my current peak this season :D
Like 3 years ago I was Gold II as a Jungler with Mumu, I moved to Europe played casual and came back to the US, played ranked and am hard stuck B2 with 80 games played.. auto slotted Iron 4 and I don’t even remember playing placements. Hope this new season brings justice lol
Beyond all of these things, the best tip to rank up is to learn to dodge. 8/10 games where you have even one shady teammate (5-6h game session with mostly losses, or generally bad winrate, on autofill or new champ etc.) are simply lost. There's no point in trying to carry a game where you know you are going to play 4v5. Firstly it's not fun, second, it's not going to happen.
Frfr, way more Ranks Abpve you then below you was a GAME CHANGER for me. I thought on this for awhile. Kept reminding myself the vulk of people are stuck here. That allowed me to pull the trigger sooner. The nothing to lose mentality gave me calm and I could just make plays.
one little critique, map should never be based on a timer (for example 10 sec) instead i reccomend to add it to your muscle memory that anytime no minions are low, and the enemy is out of range, just check the map, then go back to cs ing when minions start to get low again. identifying this downtimes is crucial to getting the map awereness

Just keep improving your carrying ability and you'll win more than you lose. You have to be honest about your flaws if you an to improve though. Not many people are.
yeah, i have for a long realized a lot of my "problems" come from playing a champion that sucks at winning with fundementals. my fundementals are pretty strong, on champs that focus very on that macro element i have high wr. i do have a high wr on my main (65.2% over 46 games in preseason) but its akali, she sucks at clearing camps to turbo her farming, shes decent at sidelaning but clears slow if she has to rush to a flank. her strenght, (and my strenght luckily) is identifying mistakes (i see a lot of them here in gold) and killing people for it. i do however find myself unable to reach dominant 1 v 9 levels of power when my csing can barely breach the 6.5/7cs per min while im tryharding for farm (sidelanes, camps enroute to other lanes etc) and depend quite a lot on my team surviving atleast 5 seconds in a fight

I was gold every season, this season im stuck in silver 2 83 lp. Reason: smurfs, bad lp winrate (14) and loserare (14). It takes too long, i win 3 i lose 3 i win 3 i lose 3. I just carried 7 wins in a row and il probably lose the next 7
Smurfs an trolls might be a reason that you're losing, but that's outside of your control. If you want to improve, focus on the reasons that you can control. Helps with ego and tilt

This videos doenst make any sense. Im winning lane, 5-0 as annie, super fed!! My top lane int, 0-3 against nasus and he goes afk, my bot lane losing , 0-4, 0-4. My jungler is still lvl 5 at 14 minutes of game. I cant do shit
The thing is that all of these courses are from players above diamond. I think the point is that im bronze but i watch the map, have alot of vision, get good kda and my mechanics are good (at least for bronze i think i play like 4x better than bronzes i spectate), and the thing is that they dont concider that when i play good in bronze i get matched up against players on my level and when i play with my friends we have like 3 bronzes, 1 silver and 1 gold and we get matched up against gold/plat players all the time, so my point is that im in bronze but i play a gold match so i dont think that matchmaking works, at least in EUNE

When i started playing league late s8 i didnt play much but I watched faker. He said look at your map every second. When i started fully playing this season i hit plat.

I suggest it, on some accounts mmr is simply fucked, best example: a friend of mine was stuck on silver 1 for over 200 games, but needed 50-60 games on his second account do reach Plat 3, simply because he lost 20 lp for losing and got 10 for winning, on the second account tho he got 28 LP for winning and lost 6 for losing At the same time he couldn't get double promotions on the silver account but kept getting double promotions on the smurf acc

I feel like there a lot of plat skill level players that are stuck in bronze because they don’t know how to work with others and or their team doesn’t know how to work with them either.
I play Brand and Garen mainly. Mastery level 7 with each. With Brand I average 6+ cs a minute. with Garen 5+. I have a positive KDA around 90% of the time and I am the highest damage player around 70% of the time. I place wards and I destroy wards. I hopped into an ARAM last week and played with some decent guys and we had fun. Afterwards they added me to their squad and they were all Gold / Plat. They saw I was BRONZE III and couldn't believe it, given how I played each champ. I have a 50% winrate (less lately) yet I play consistently well in every ranked match. I hop from Bronze 2 back to 3 and forward again for a month. I am better than those players I met. They admitted there was someething seriously wrong. So is it either 1. I am the most unlucky person in the world 2. I am lying or 3. The game is so full of smurfs that make it impossible for people like me to get up from Bronze? By the way, my 9 year old daughter recently started playing. She got placed in Bronze I (where she still resides) even though her MMR is less than half mine. Also, her friends that she plays with suck terribly. They are Bronze II and III. Is the game telling me that I am the same level as my daughter and her friends? Because when I play with them, I pentakill multiple times a match and get called a smurf. So explain to me what EXACTLY is going on? :D
@@ollep0lle 6 a minute is Gold level or higher. Considering i'm now in Iron, 6CS / min is well above average. Since the last month I have been hitting even more. My scores yesterday were 26/3/11 and 11/0/14. First game I did 56k damamge (over 20k more than anyone else) and had 267 CS in 27 minutes. Second match I did 73K damage, over DOUBLE anyone else, and had 312 CS in 34 minutes. I only did two matches. First Garen jungle, second Brand mid. Both games were losses. I am in Iron 2. So ... Thanks for your input but obviously, given what it was, it was pretty damn useless! XD
@@annematthews1837 Lol Have you tried improving your macro play? Like wave management? I climbed alot when I learned how to freeze my lane. If you learn to do this you will be able to farm more safely close to your own turret while your opponent is susceptible to ganks. Plus you will automatically acquire huge minion waves that you can crash into enemy turrets. When they crash you can allow yourself a free recall/roam. Still. Are you practicing last hitting in custom games? In longer games, your amount of cs becomes less accurate. Remember that its the first half of every game that matters more. If your cs is excellent early rather than late, you will have a gold advantage for a longer time. Also, 300 cs isnt automatically good. If youre taking minions away from teammates too much, you will make them powerless. For example if you have all your items you need to let your allies take minions from there. They need gold too. Consider if you can help them late game by softening up minion hp bars without last hitting them.

@@annematthews1837 Thats an amazing KDA, but any player in platinum or higher can confirm to you that kda isnt the most important thing. Going for objectives takes priority. But I dont know how you play, maybe you are very good at taking objectives. Anyway having a good cs is more important than always trying to get kills because its a more reliable income source. Teamfights will often screw up in lower ranks and the outcome is therefore often random. Also, having good last hitting in lane is always more important than having a good cs at the end of the match. If most of your cs comes from defending base late game, but you have a hard time last hitting minions with auto attacks, then your opponent will have more power to influence the outcome of every fight. Dont YOU want to be the player with high damage in every fight? Or are you satisfied with only having high damage after 30 or so minutes?

I'm Iron. Actually I should be silver or at least bronze. On first 10 drafts 50% winrate and always more kills than deaths. On first ranked I got defeat, played Yorick 7/3/2 250farm, first to hit 18lv and most amount of money. 30 minutes match All I can say I had eye's nerve pain strains and overall I feel like my mental capabilities decreased in life. I was working in Delivery, but at some point my eye sight and space analyse power decreased. I started feeling uncomfortable riding fast, sometimes accidentally overlook things and just looking feels more demanding mentally and less efficient. My main cause is I'm stressful person and when I do sth routinely, it becomes harder to be relaxed in mind and bc of that, I'm start to be too sensitive & worrying about things around.
I have just started and i have decided to play 500 botgames just trying to get muscle memory and trying to get better at killing minions correctly and get used to map awareness. There are so many more things to this game, but i feel like these 3 are the most important before my first pvp games so that my teammates atleast cant claim that im griefing. 🖖
Gonna be honest, that’s an ineffective way to improve, bots are to understanding the essential basics such as objectives, builds etc, once you have that down play normals, it will help you get better at map awareness, trading etc. In time you will play ranked and that’s when you will get better as bots & normals can only take you so far.

I remember this one game where I told the whole team to come get on discord, and this Qiyana jg went too trying to kill an Aatrox while being levels behind and I told him don’t do that and literally screamed it. I'm sick of being Silver. It's complete chaos in these games, they're ganking with 4 people in my botlane and my jungler never comes to help. Maybe I should switch to mid again (Though you never get to play that role). Used to be katarina one trick but she has way too many counters so I stopped playing her. ADC now but I'm not sure I'm having fun anymore.
Bruhh, I had 200+ms and 7 to 20 fps and still made it to bronze lmao. It even went down to 2fps in team fights. In wildlift I've got 150- 200ms sometimes it goes up to 500 but thankfully made it to plat. 40fps there.

You win 2 for every loss, you’re gaining 13lp. If you win more, you gain more. The more you win, the higher your mmr will climb, and the more lp you’ll gain. If you dodge games that aren’t winnable in champ select, your LP will drop, but your mmr won’t change, and you can help inflate your lp gains that way as well.
You cant be searious that Gold is easier to escape. I started playing league in like 2015. Started in bronze then after a year I was in Gold. And i am still in Gold after couple of years, its impossible. Basically its a random roulette, i do very well in games, but my teammates.. Ugh lose me games and you cant really do it all solo its a team game.

one little critique, map should never be based on a timer (for example 10 sec) instead i reccomend to add it to your muscle memory that anytime no minions are low, and the enemy is out of range, just check the map, then go back to cs ing when minions start to get low again. identifying this downtimes is crucial to getting the map awereness
There is a 200 ping xin zhao mid onetrick in challanger, so i know its really hard, but with the right champ u can climb even with high ping
Could you make a vid like this specifically for jungler Bc I feel like macro is a lot more important for them and a handful of these tips don’t really apply to them

Just keep improving your carrying ability and you'll win more than you lose. You have to be honest about your flaws if you an to improve though. Not many people are.

yeah, i have for a long realized a lot of my "problems" come from playing a champion that sucks at winning with fundementals. my fundementals are pretty strong, on champs that focus very on that macro element i have high wr. i do have a high wr on my main (65.2% over 46 games in preseason) but its akali, she sucks at clearing camps to turbo her farming, shes decent at sidelaning but clears slow if she has to rush to a flank. her strenght, (and my strenght luckily) is identifying mistakes (i see a lot of them here in gold) and killing people for it. i do however find myself unable to reach dominant 1 v 9 levels of power when my csing can barely breach the 6.5/7cs per min while im tryharding for farm (sidelanes, camps enroute to other lanes etc) and depend quite a lot on my team surviving atleast 5 seconds in a fight

You did not carry those wins.
Smurfs an trolls might be a reason that you're losing, but that's outside of your control. If you want to improve, focus on the reasons that you can control. Helps with ego and tilt

This videos doenst make any sense. Im winning lane, 5-0 as annie, super fed!! My top lane int, 0-3 against nasus and he goes afk, my bot lane losing , 0-4, 0-4. My jungler is still lvl 5 at 14 minutes of game. I cant do shit
there are certain games u can't win no matter how much effort you put into, so just focus on improving only what u can control.
The thing is that all of these courses are from players above diamond. I think the point is that im bronze but i watch the map, have alot of vision, get good kda and my mechanics are good (at least for bronze i think i play like 4x better than bronzes i spectate), and the thing is that they dont concider that when i play good in bronze i get matched up against players on my level and when i play with my friends we have like 3 bronzes, 1 silver and 1 gold and we get matched up against gold/plat players all the time, so my point is that im in bronze but i play a gold match so i dont think that matchmaking works, at least in EUNE

I suggest it, on some accounts mmr is simply fucked, best example: a friend of mine was stuck on silver 1 for over 200 games, but needed 50-60 games on his second account do reach Plat 3, simply because he lost 20 lp for losing and got 10 for winning, on the second account tho he got 28 LP for winning and lost 6 for losing
At the same time he couldn't get double promotions on the silver account but kept getting double promotions on the smurf acc

I play Brand and Garen mainly. Mastery level 7 with each. With Brand I average 6+ cs a minute. with Garen 5+. I have a positive KDA around 90% of the time and I am the highest damage player around 70% of the time. I place wards and I destroy wards. I hopped into an ARAM last week and played with some decent guys and we had fun. Afterwards they added me to their squad and they were all Gold / Plat. They saw I was BRONZE III and couldn't believe it, given how I played each champ. I have a 50% winrate (less lately) yet I play consistently well in every ranked match. I hop from Bronze 2 back to 3 and forward again for a month. I am better than those players I met. They admitted there was someething seriously wrong.
So is it either 1. I am the most unlucky person in the world 2. I am lying or 3. The game is so full of smurfs that make it impossible for people like me to get up from Bronze?
By the way, my 9 year old daughter recently started playing. She got placed in Bronze I (where she still resides) even though her MMR is less than half mine. Also, her friends that she plays with suck terribly. They are Bronze II and III.
Is the game telling me that I am the same level as my daughter and her friends? Because when I play with them, I pentakill multiple times a match and get called a smurf.

I think 6 cs per minute is a bit low. Have you tried last hitting practice in a custom game?
@@ollep0lle 6 a minute is Gold level or higher. Considering i'm now in Iron, 6CS / min is well above average. Since the last month I have been hitting even more.
My scores yesterday were 26/3/11 and 11/0/14. First game I did 56k damamge (over 20k more than anyone else) and had 267 CS in 27 minutes. Second match I did 73K damage, over DOUBLE anyone else, and had 312 CS in 34 minutes. I only did two matches. First Garen jungle, second Brand mid.
Both games were losses.
I am in Iron 2.

Have you tried improving your macro play? Like wave management? I climbed alot when I learned how to freeze my lane. If you learn to do this you will be able to farm more safely close to your own turret while your opponent is susceptible to ganks. Plus you will automatically acquire huge minion waves that you can crash into enemy turrets. When they crash you can allow yourself a free recall/roam.
Still. Are you practicing last hitting in custom games?
In longer games, your amount of cs becomes less accurate. Remember that its the first half of every game that matters more. If your cs is excellent early rather than late, you will have a gold advantage for a longer time.
Also, 300 cs isnt automatically good. If youre taking minions away from teammates too much, you will make them powerless. For example if you have all your items you need to let your allies take minions from there. They need gold too. Consider if you can help them late game by softening up minion hp bars without last hitting them.

@@annematthews1837 Thats an amazing KDA, but any player in platinum or higher can confirm to you that kda isnt the most important thing. Going for objectives takes priority. But I dont know how you play, maybe you are very good at taking objectives.
Anyway having a good cs is more important than always trying to get kills because its a more reliable income source. Teamfights will often screw up in lower ranks and the outcome is therefore often random. Also, having good last hitting in lane is always more important than having a good cs at the end of the match. If most of your cs comes from defending base late game, but you have a hard time last hitting minions with auto attacks, then your opponent will have more power to influence the outcome of every fight. Dont YOU want to be the player with high damage in every fight? Or are you satisfied with only having high damage after 30 or so minutes?

All I can say I had eye's nerve pain strains and overall I feel like my mental capabilities decreased in life.
I was working in Delivery, but at some point my eye sight and space analyse power decreased.
I started feeling uncomfortable riding fast, sometimes accidentally overlook things and just looking feels more demanding mentally and less efficient.
My main cause is I'm stressful person and when I do sth routinely, it becomes harder to be relaxed in mind and bc of that, I'm start to be too sensitive & worrying about things around.

Gonna be honest, that’s an ineffective way to improve, bots are to understanding the essential basics such as objectives, builds etc, once you have that down play normals, it will help you get better at map awareness, trading etc. In time you will play ranked and that’s when you will get better as bots & normals can only take you so far.

I’ll be real with u bronze is way worst then it seems. Somehow even if I am doing great at my lane and doing fine getting like 8 kills with a ton of cs ahead my team still manages to lose. I ping this player to get out of my lane and not mess up my wave but bro wouldn’t listen. I remember this one game where I told the whole team to come get on discord, and this Qiyana jg went too trying to kill an Aatrox while being levels behind and I told him don’t do that and literally screamed it. I'm sick of being Silver. It's complete chaos in these games, they're ganking with 4 people in my botlane and my jungler never comes to help. Maybe I should switch to mid again (Though you never get to play that role). Used to be katarina one trick but she has way too many counters so I stopped playing her. ADC now but I'm not sure I'm having fun anymore.
Bruhh, I had 200+ms and 7 to 20 fps and still made it to bronze lmao. It even went down to 2fps in team fights.
In wildlift I've got 150- 200ms sometimes it goes up to 500 but thankfully made it to plat. 40fps there.

You win 2 for every loss, you’re gaining 13lp. If you win more, you gain more. The more you win, the higher your mmr will climb, and the more lp you’ll gain. If you dodge games that aren’t winnable in champ select, your LP will drop, but your mmr won’t change, and you can help inflate your lp gains that way as well.
You cant be searious that Gold is easier to escape. I started playing league in like 2015. Started in bronze then after a year I was in Gold. And i am still in Gold after couple of years, its impossible. Basically its a random roulette, i do very well in games, but my teammates.. Ugh lose me games and you cant really do it all solo its a team game.
200 ping is bad xD before we got finer here in South Africa I was in gold. with average of 220 ping
