Thanks Gary! I will keep trying with the spawning but I am not hopeful for this year. I need to build something where I can keep the temps stable in the spawning set up. The pond water is great for the veg patch and saves me water too. 😊
Wow those veggie plants really grew fast!!!! It looks like the soawning net is a good idea. Looking forward to seeing if the spawning eventually worked. When i moved my koi to the back pond, it was an 8 degree difference from the front pond. Mine spawned right away. I think you're right on the reason they didn't spawn. Need to het those temps up, and keep them up. Best of luck. Great update Jens ❤🤗
Can't imagine going that long without rain and I am sure you aren't used to muggy weather.. our summers are usually very muggy.. The growth of your plants is. awesome. Sorry they didn't spawn. I only tend to have success if there is a big temp change .. Ya that was getting pretty warm .. you never know.. smart idea putting the spawning ropes in
I truly have big dislike towards muggy weather. I am surprised your summers are muggy. I am happy I use the pond water for veggies patch ! The plants really like it. It is a shame with the spawning but there is always next year. I plan to build something where I can keep the temps stable. Another project 😁
Morning jens 👋 Well, that's disappointing with the spawning, but keep trying, you will get it done🙂Garden is looking great 👍 Good luck, my friend🫡 🐟

Thanks Chris! Yes, the veggies grow great and really like the pond water. The spawning is not going to plan. Temps are not stable yet.
